This should be branded on every Christians mind

Updated on November 22, 2012

Remember if before you speak

Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Ephesians 4:1-6

Concerning being judgmental towards others, especially towards Christians. This should be branded on every Christians mind. Remember if before you speak.

Too often we are judgmental towards others in things that do not matter. It’s end result is fuel for the fire of anger and resentment. How many people have been driven away from church or how many people who are interested in Christians are driven away from Christianity because of these mean spirited people. It is a plague and must be driven out. Don’t forget, when you point the finger at someone else, there are three more pointing back at you.

There were times when I saw something I didn’t like in someone else, like say a bug shaggy beard or a tattoo, especially on a woman, but kept my mouth shut. Consequently I discovered some were pretty cool people.

Try this: the next time you see or hear something trivial about someone that rubs you the wrong way, before you open your mouth, quietly ask God what there is in your life that annoys Him.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) fill me with the Holy Spirit that my words may be gracious to everyone I meet today.I ask in the name of Him who exemplifies grace, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

      Good morning teaches.

I too have had the same experiances, especially when working in soup kitchens. Many people there are quite interesting and decent people who through no fault of theuir own have fallen on hard times.

      Good morning Felipe.

I deeply respect and admire you for continuing to attend church. It is because of the maliciousness of so mant members that I quit attending. I couldn't take it anymore.

      Good morning Timlove.

I applaud you for being mature enough to do the right thing and apologize to those you hurt and offended and asked for forgiveness. That is the right attitude.

May the reshreshing springs of Jesus' sweet loving water envelope you.

This is a good word teseacherjoe 52, I have been critical of Gods people even here on Hubpages and God chastised me, I have had to go to certain people and apologise and ask their forgivness. Even if we have the truth if we do not have love it profits nothing. I have learned the hard way to let everything I do be done out of love.

This subject brings out a lot of emotion in me. Some comments from Church members makes me question whether my family and I are at the right Church. But I go to Church to be closer to God and only He can bring peace to me and my fellows Christians.

I agree, we must not judge others so quickly. I have discovered many things about people that were surprisingly good when I learned to listen.
