Through God's Eyes We Are Here And In A Blink We Are Gone

Here I sit close beside this bed

Of the one who has shared my life.

We are just two aged people ,

A poor old farmer and his wife.

It seems like ages but not true,

Hard to believe how the time does fly,

We start out young and healthy ,

Then we are getting ready to die,

Prepare to die ?Strange as it seems

But it really now seems to be so

One has to prepare to come to earth

And then we must prepare to go!

Are you ready for an instant call?

Have your Heavenly plans been made?

Can you stand before your Maker

Washed, unblemished and unafraid?

Or would you give all that you own

For just one more twenty four day,

To repent and ask God's forgiveness

And to just get on your knees and pray?

Or maybe you would just remember

Or think of unkind things you had done,

Of times you had turned from The Lord,

Each time you had failed Him every one.

If this was your story and He had tried,

And if this was your life even today.

Then if God called you now before Him

In all truthfulness what could you say?

From babies until old age it seems like

a mighty long time but how fast that time

really does seem to fly. we grow from

toddler into youth and soon we have a

a family of our own . Have we brought

God with us through all of the trials and

possibly heartache at times or have we

just forgotten about Him , did we just

get to busy to talk to Him,to pray

and to teach our children that He is

to be the most important part of their

life? If we didn't we can turn to Him

in earnest this time for all time ,don't

wait call out to Him now, he is never

too busy to answer an earnest call.!

      Life is so fleeting. You turn around and your youth is gone. To God I am sure it is a snap. Our movement to God may be as as ants movement to us, do you think? lol Could be. I know I never feel ready to go as in just waiting and I know that is how it should be. There has been a time or two in my life when I was near that but I let life get in the way of that and I hang on to my salvation so I have no fear there but I know I owe more loyalty to my savior and that is what I should strive for daily.
