It Is A Heart Choice: To Whom Does Yours Belong?

The Choice Is Yours

We often hear how the devil, our adversary (I Peter 5: 8) walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. While this is true, we should also remember II Chronicles 16:9 "for the eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect (totally committed, loyal) toward Him, so He can show His great POWER in helping them."

Isn't it wonderful to know that while satan is walking back and forth, going to and fro on the earth (Job 1:7 & Job 2:2) that God is also searching back and forth across the whole earth to show His great power?

Will you perfect your heart toward God and receive His help through His great power or will you settle for letting the adversary devour you? "Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else." (Deuteronomy 4:39)

The choice is yours! Do you love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, as Jesus commanded? (Matthew 22:37) To whom does your heart belong? Examine your heart. May it be found fully committed to God so that He may show Himself strong on your behalf.

To Whom Does Your Heart Belong?

Is that a difficult question for you to answer?

(Maybe God has not always had your heart. If so, it's not too late. He has made Himself available to you and for you and is always waiting for your return back to Him.)

Father God, it's in the name of Jesus that I call on You asking for Your forgiveness. I believe in You, I love You, and I know that You love me because You gave Your Son Jesus to die for me. So I surrender my heart completely to You; have your way, Lord. Purify my heart so that I may fully commit to Your will, Your way, Your plan, and Your purpose for my life. Amen.
