Just A Few Words

Updated on September 12, 2009

Hi all i want you to know that when we are going through storms and trials this is when God is holding us. There is only one set of foot prints in the sand..I want you to know since 2005 how many prayer needs he has answered for me and my family. Oh how wonderful he is..here is something you can do with your spare time.
Find a little note book, and a folder with pouches. I am going to try to put mine online. anyway keep writing down your needs on one sheet of paper, write the date you prayed, keep praying. add this paper to your folder, then when God answers that prayer get that folder out and write it on that paper and put it back in your folder, do this for each prayer needs. date it, date it when answered..keep it and look back on it.
This is called a hundred answers to prayer.
This will inspire you and help strengthen your faith.God's timing isn't ours and I had to learn this..
Keep keeping on for Godlove BettyB

A prayer journal is so amazing, It helps us to remember how God brought us through in the past so that our hope and faith for the future are stronger. I love your heart JMJ!

As a group of men that meet each morning for devotions, we record our prayer requests as well as our praise reports. Consistantly we have checked off answered prayer. Your hub has prompted me now to go through the prayer journals and do the balance sheet. I would estimate that likely the answered prayers win...God Bless you Betty...keep hubbing and lovng God as you do.

      Here is a poem:

MY LIFE WAS OVER AND NOW AS I STOOD BEFORE THE FATHER, HE WAS GOING OVER MY LIFE IN REVIEW. AS WE WALKED UPON A BEAUTIFUL SHORELINE, FLASHES OF MY LIFE COULD THEN BE SEEN ACROSS THE SKY. I BECAME PUZZLED THEN WHEN A CERTAIN MEMORY CAME UP FOR REVIEW. IN ALL THE OTHER VIEWS I SAW GOD THERE BESIDE ME EVERY TIME, BUT IN THIS ONE SCENE, I COULD NOT SEE HIM ANYWHERE, ALL I SAW WAS DARKNESS. HE SAW I WAS UPSET AND ASKED ME WHAT WAS WRONG? I LOOKED UP AND INTO HIS KIND EYES, FULL OF LOVE AND WISDOM. I SAID, " WHERE WERE YOU? THIS WAS ONE OF MY MOST AWFUL TIMES ON EARTH? I WAS SO AFRAID AND SO SICK. WHERE WHERE YOU AND WHY DID YOU LEAVE? " THEN CAME HIS REPLY, " MY DEAR AND PRECIOUS DAUGHTER, DURING THOSE TIMES WHERE ALL YOU SAW WAS DARKNESS, IT WAS BECAUSE I HELD YOU SO TIGHTLY TO MY CHEST. IT IS WHY YOU COULD NOT SEE ME.

Great idea. To see these blessings, reflect on them—should create a more grateful spirit. I love it!
