Turning a caterpiller into an elephant
A simple way to turn a caterpillar into an elephant.
Have you ever encountered somebody that no matter what you do it does not impress them? I have met many of them. You know what they are deviously doing, making you their slave. No matter what you do it does not impress them. So you try harder and harder to please them until they dominate your life.
Yes it hurt real bad when those I loved did not encourage me but mocked me whenever I shared with them I was going to attempt something big in my life. When I told people I was moving from the farm to the city to go to school they all laughed and said I was too stupid and too much a hick. I would be back home in less than six months. Whenever I called home they would mock me and ask me when I am going to stop being so stupid and come home where I belonged. After a lot of hard work and dedication I succeeded. When I showed them, their attitude was so what? I thought they would be proud of me but were completely indifferent. There are some people that no matter what you do they will not be impressed. It is like turning a caterpillar into an elephant.
One lesson learned however is that when obeying Gods commands and directions in life, He slowly, most times without you even realizing it, is turning you from an ugly caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. He will always be proud of you and will show it in marvelous and (in my life) unusual ways.
Oh, for how do you turn a butterfly into a caterpillar, don’t waste your time, allow instead for God to turn you into a beautiful butterfly.
In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, Ephesians 1:11 New International Version
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (The Eternal Creator) for the wonderful privilege of creating a servants heart in me. Thank you for all the wonderful ways You express Your cherished approval of me. I give thanks in the name of Him who made it all possible Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
