The Wheat and the Tares
There is a false man-made religion propagating that is the modern church system today. One of the deceptions of a false religion is that it seems right, but is actually a deceptive facade. Many have have embraced a counterfeit religion that replaces Christ for man's way of doing things.
There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. - Proverbs 14:12
Basing a religious system on what your leader, parents, or teacher have told you is not a true formula for embracing the true Gospel. Most of us take what we hear and imagine and accept it without question. We may have circular reasoning in our beliefs. You believe it is true because the system told you so, and because the system told you so you believe it is true.
Do we truly know what real truth is all because someone told us it is so?
Scripture states that we must worship God in spirit and truth. It is the Holy Spirt that guides us into truth, not man.
In Matthew 13:24 Jesus said, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field.“But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away.“BUT WHEN THE WHET SPROUTED AND BORE GRAIN, THEN THE TARES BECAME EVIDENT ALSO".“The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’“And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’“But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them.‘Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”
This verse is symbolic of two types of people that will propagate in the world.
Good Fruit, Bad Fruit
A tare can be defined as a noxious weed. Wheat and tares look alike until their growth cycle comes to an end and that is why they can be difficult to tell one from the other. In similar manner many who call themselves Christians may look like and profess to be followers of Christ. However, to truly tell the real from the counterfeit requires discernment and may not be able to tell the difference until the end of their growth cycle. It is the fruit that distinguishes how the Holy Spirit utilizes the wheat, or the true genuine teachings of the Gospel of Christ.
“You will know them by their fruits. GRAPES ARE NOT GATHERED FROM THORN BUSHES, NOR FIGS FROM THISTLES, ARE THEY? “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.“So then, you will know them by their fruits. - Matthew 7:16-20
The One Who Sits on the White Horses
No matter how well intentioned people may be hearing about Christ, salvation, Good News, etc., they may still be deceived. A walk of life based on Scripture can be preached, but if it is not fully understood, or only a form of it is followed then worshiping God in the fullness spirit and truth will be missed. The problem with what is preached in the church system today gives lip service to Christ, but in behaviour and action denies what he has done. It is the facade of the counterfeit church system that creates an illusion of being obedient to the ways of God when in fact they are an abomination.
I looked, and behold, a WHITE HORSE, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, AND HE WENT OUT CONQUERING AND TO CONQUER. - Revelation 6:2
This rider on the horse seems like Christ, but he is not. He is one of the four horsemen who is evil and does much damage. False doctrine and human tradition is intention of Satan is to deceive those into believing the counterfeit.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called FAITHFUL AND TRUE, and IN RIGHTEOUSNESS He judges and wages war. - Revelation 19:11
The rider on the white horse in Revelation 6:2 goes forth to deceive and conquer those who follow him. The deceived are the ones who may sound spiritual with their words and actions, but they do not know Christ.
Discernment is required to make the distinction between the riders who both ride white horses.
Are you on the side of the one who is faithful and true, or have you been deceived by an antichrist who wants to control and conquer you?
For I testify about them that they HAVE A ZEAL FOR GOD, BUT NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH KNOWLEDGE. For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. -Romans 10:2
There are many who have zeal for what they believe in, but they are deceived. The only way to know the real from the counterfeit is weighing and testing the words, behaviours and actions of those who claim to follow Christ with God's word. That is the ONLY way we find the truth is with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Be diligent to PRESENT YOURSELF APPROVED TO GOD as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth. - 2 Timothy 2:15
God has given us His standard found in Scripture. He wants us to study it for ourselves with the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that we may have the discernment to know the difference between they way of the wheat and the system of the tares.
Man wants you to come to them for truth.
God wants His Spirit to guide you to the truth by what Christ has done.
Where do you find your truth?
Do you believe that God can give us the discernment to tell the difference between the real and the counterfeit?
- Probing the Prosperity Gospel
If we are heirs to the blessings of Abraham, and prosperity is part of the covenant, then why is it wrong to want financial blessing? What is wrong with the prosperity gospel?
- True Prophet vs. False "Profit"
In the church today, we have prophets among us who are called by God to speak truth and others who speak the opposite or counterfeit. Sometimes it can be difficult to discern one from the other. The truth is...
- Prophecy Illiteracy
There are two types of prophets, one is true and the other is counterfeit. By understanding the true Biblical definition of prophecy, it is easier to make the distinction from one to the other.
