UFO Encounters; Proof Of Existence: Are They Real? My Encounter With The Other Side, My Story
At some point in time, I believe we all wonder about the unknown. Is the paranormal relm real? Is there life on other planets? Is there such things as UFO's? I must admit, I always wondered about these questions, but I never searched for a correct answer. I never denied the possibility, but I had my doubts.
One of my favorite shows when i was young was Unsolved Mysteries. I remember being interested in ghost and space ships. I guess I have always been interested in science. Even so, I was still a skeptic. That all changed in the summer of 2001. I will be honest, very few people know the story I am about to tell. I have been very cautious about telling people about this specific encounter. This story is a true story and the events that occurred are real. I am a firm believer of life on other planets and the paranormal. I did not chose to be a believer, but I had to after the events that I have witnessed over the past 10 years. I am also going to write about my wife and her experiences also. The sole purpose of this article is to explain the events that happened in July 2001.
I have been fortunate to witness many strange events during my brief 28 years here on Earth. Before any of these incidents occurred, I was always skeptical that life existed on other planets. I believe we are taught at a young age that life only exist on Earth. My very first encounter was in 2001. I remember it like it was yesterday. I had never been so scared in my life. This event happened nearly a month after I graduated from high school.
I used to live in Omar, West Virginia. Omar is an old mining town that seen its best days in the 50s. Now, it is a small community of a few hundred residents. Pine Creek is located next to Omar and it is basically the back country. There is a paved back road that goes through Pine Creek. It is about 11 miles long. Pine Creek stretches for miles, but only about 100 residents call it home and most of them are located at the mouth of the holler. It is basically all wilderness. There are a lot of paths and small four wheeling roads throughout Pine Creek. At certain locations, you are miles away from the population.
My friends and I decided to go up Johnson Holler and camp out for the night to celebrate my graduation. The road goes 2 miles off the main back road and the nearest residence is about 6 miles away. We wanted to make sure we were far away from everyone so we wouldn't bother anyone. There was about 14 of us at one time and the beer was running low. Our fire was also beginning to die, but at this time, we really didn't care. We had 3 vehicles, but as it got later, 2 car loads had left. My friend Chico was my ride and he wanted to leave to go to the store before it closed. It was about 1:30 am and the store closed at 2. If he left right now, he would make it before the store closed. If not, he would have to go 10 more miles down the road. he eventually left and 3 of us were left alone.
I wanted to build the fire up first so we would have enough light to pitch the tent. We really wasn't prepared to camp out, but we were trying to make due. As i was going back for my second load of firewood, I saw a bright flash hit the front of my face while I was bending over. I thought it was a flashlight. That is how bright it was, but I knew we didn't have a flashlight. My friends noticed the flash as well and we all figured someone was messing with us. We all gathered close together and the silence in the woods sent a terrible feeling in my gut. I remember feeling the vibration of my friend Chris shaking. A few minutes later, we hear a humming sound coming from the ridge of the mountain. It was quiet though, almost like hearing your washing machine from upstairs.
We listened quietly with puzzled looks on our faces. And less then a minute later, the sound was gone. We were down in the valley, in between two mountains on a dirt road. A few minutes after the sound stopped, we all see a blue beam of light shining down the mountain on the fire, at the least, 20 feet away from us. The light glided right to left, back and forth, almost like someone was searching for something. The light only lasted for a few seconds and it disappeared. I thought someone was messing with us, but this light was not like a spotlight. The blue beam looked watery, like water was inside the beam of light. That is the best that I can describe it to you, I had never seen anything like it.
My heart was beating out of my chest at this point and I remember being very confused. It was almost like we couldn't move. Who would be on top of the mountain at 2 in the morning? I knew Chico wouldn't be back anytime soon, so we decided to begin walking and get out of here as quick as possible. Suddenly, we heard a scream that sent chills down my spine and literally paralyzed me, a scream of some type that I had never heard of before. At this time, I knew we were in trouble. No human or animal can scream like that. I don't know what to do.
NO WAY THIS IS HAPPENING
I really wish I could describe this beam of light better, but I really can't. I have never been so scared in my life, completely terrified. My friend Chris was extremely shook up. He was on the break of passing out. Even if we take off, we are two miles away from the back road and 6 miles away from the nearest house. All three of us hunkered down beside a tall tree in the brush. We hoped Chico would be back with the car soon so we can get out of here.
I would say 20 minutes had went by since that awful scream we heard and for 20 straight minutes, you could here a pen drop. I thought this was weird because you could usually here the animals. Besides an occasional pop from the fire, there was utter silence. The next thing you know, it sounds like something big is coming off the mountain. It is a good distance away, but it is getting closer and the noise is constant. Suddenly, "snap"! It sounded like a tree limb breaking. "Snap, snap"! Tree limbs were snapping by something. "All my God, I whispered. What the hell is that"? We have to go, lets go, lets go. I counted in my head to three and everyone was on page. All three of us took off like we were running for money. At this time in my life, I was fast and I could run for a large distance. I figured I could reach the back road in a quick enough. When I looked back, I noticed Chris struggling. I couldn't leave him. He was having chest pains and I knew he was in total shock. Jason was already gone like the wind. Chris could barely walk, even with his arm around my neck.
We may have went a quarter mile and Chris just couldn't go no more. I tried to listen above Chris gasping for air to see if I could hear anything. I tried but I couldn't. Chris was in bad shape. I couldn't blame him, I was on my last limb as well. It was like he was not in the world. After a minute of rest, we began walking again. I would say we walked about a mile without any issues. I didn't look back at this time and I didn't hear or see anything weird. "Oh shit, Chris whispered. The light." Oh my God, the light is back. What the hell is going on? This ain't right. I knew at that moment that something was looking for us, but what? The light was huge. You could see weird material inside the large beam. The light could easily cover the width and diameter of a SUV. This time, it was within feet from us. I grabbed Chris and threw him behind a large rock and under a tree in the water ditch. I immediately followed him. We stayed there for a long time, but still, no Chico. The light beam was gone again, but I heard that humming sound again. It was louder this time, but it was a quiet hum. A noise I have never heard before I am certain.
Chris was starting to come back around and I know for a fact, we were behind that rock for a good hour. I decided to peak around the corner of the rock, but I couldn't see anything. It was quiet as can be, besides the humming noise coming from all around. I couldn't pinpoint the direction. Chris had his head against the rock, looking up. He saw it first. He tapped me on the shoulder and pointed to the sky. I didn't want to look, but I did. It was the corner of a large object in the sky. "No way, no way, I thought while shaking my head no". It was an UFO. It was rounded at the front and it has a metallic bottom. The back end, or perhaps the front, had a rectangular shape. I heard the hum coming from the ship and I knew everything was because of the ship. I was amazed, but when I thought about the tree limbs snapping and the scream, I really began to get nervous. I thought they were coming for us. I know it sounds crazy, but what else could it be?
The bottom of the object had a blue water-like section. It had to be the blue beam. This sent chills down my spine. At the worst, I figured someone was messing with us on the mountain with a huge spotlight of some type. Now, I knew it was far from my original thought. Luckily for us, the ship passes by and eventually goes over the mountain line.
Once it passed, we finally began walking again. We reached the back road and found Jason. He was coming out from under the bridge at the fork. I could hear the animals again, the owl and the insects. Before, I heard nothing and I remember this. I looked at my watch and it was 4:33am. 3 hours had passed and we were so pissed off at Chico. How could he leave us up here for that long? After a mile of walking, we saw headlights and I knew by the sound of the car it was Chico. "What the hell are you all doing?", Chico asked looking confused. "You wouldn't believe us if we told you, Jason stated. We are going home."
I was pissed off that Chico left us up here for 3 hours. It was total bull. "I can't believe you left us up here for three damn hours Chico", I said with evil intentions. Your a punk. "What are you talking about Rick?, Chico sounded surprised. It is only 2:26am". I paused. I pressed the light on my watch and it read 2:28am.
