Unexplained Events

Imagine living your whole life not ever acknowledging the paranormal. You have never had an interest in it, you never experienced anything paranormal that you know of, but out of nowhere things begin to happen that cannot be explained. You scratch your head and wonder what in the world is going on. Is this my imagination? Am I losing my mind?

But when physical things start appearing and there is absolutely no explanation, you have to stop and wonder, could this house be haunted? The events I am going to share with you are all true. I am not going to give names or exact locations. But what I will share is this home is in Georgia, and I know the people very well that live in it.

A Beautiful Home

You have just purchased a home that needs some work, but you know once it is done it will be beautiful. The land is nice, the home is cozy and although it needs work, you are excited to get started.

You cover all of the furniture with drop clothes before you begin the repairs but after working all day, you suddenly remembered you had some errands you needed to run. You rush out so fast that you just left the covers over the furniture.

Upon your return, you look over at the couch and notice there are two muddy foot prints positioned in the center of couch on the sheet. You touch the prints and the mud was dried and the foot prints are smaller than your feet. You know for a fact they could not be your's, but you are the only in the house. You stand there puzzle and a little frazzled-you start thinking of any explanation you can think of, but there are none.

You finally realize it is something you cannot explain, so you just continue on your renovations. For some odd reason you keep the feeling that a woman was in the house, but you know you are alone. Yet, you cannot get rid of the idea of a woman being around you.

True Haunted Houses

It all still continues

Isn't it funny how things just start happening without any real explanations? You are awakened in the middle of the night, and notice a shadow walking pass the night light. The alarm clock keep going off during all hours of the night. Then you wake up to see that your alarm clock was now sitting in the middle of your bedroom floor. The mind is a funny thing, it is very easy to play tricks on it. But physically having something moved from your night stand is just a little bit too strange.

Then activities become even stranger. Now you are hearing your doors rattling as if someone was on the other side trying to open the door. You begin to see shadows from your peripheral vision moving. You hear all kinds of thumps and strange noises throughout the night, and now events are beginning to happen during the day.

Once another person moved into the house with you, the events begin to happen move often, they become more stranger. You wake up shaking, sit up in the bed and just wait to see whatever is causing the noise, but finally you become exhausted and lay back down, just to be woken again by another noise.

I have personally witnessed in this home "strange feelings" and I seen someone walking across the window. I looked out the door and no one was to be seen. That is when the stories were shared with me about the home.

Are you scared or more confused? I have spoken to more than one person that says, if you live with paranormal events all of the time, eventually you become use to them. I had a friend who told me every morning she would wake up to the smell of bacon cooking, the only thing was she lived alone.

Conclusion

If you are living in a home that has paranormal activities, you will be able to tell almost immediately if the ghost are there to cause harm or they are there because that is the only place they know. You will also find that sometimes the ghost and/or spirits do not realize they are dead, therefore never crossing-over.

Often when you are doing renovations in your home and moving things, taking down things and rebuilding other things-this causes ghost to stir and become more active. You will either get use to all of the activities or become sacred and move out. Other times you may bring in Paranormal Investigators to see exactly what you are dealing with.

I have personally lived in haunted houses. What is so hard about living with ghost is the home is where the heart is. If you are scared to live in your own, that causes a lot of mental stress and actually makes you dread going home.

The couple that lives in this house has gotten use to the paranormal activities-yes it still makes them uneasy, but it is their home and they love it. To protect others when they visit and experience things unreal, they make up excuses so the visitors will not be scared.

Nothing physical has happened to the family, the ghost have manifested, make a lot of noise and do eerie things like moving the clock-but no harm has been done to anyone who stays in the house.

Have you ever lived in a Haunted House?

I agree Dawn, I do believe though a lot has to do with a lot of things that are shown on the TV and also people taking things to the extreme. That are not actual facts.

Interesting site as always. I'm sure there are probably more, but there are two haunted buildings in Pendleton that I know of. One is the building Housing the Pendleton Historical Society and the other is the old Floride Calhoun house called Mi Casa. My cousin rented there while a student at Clemson and had numerous encounters with a startling, but friendly ghost there!

I love ghost stories that are real and I felt like I was sitting around a campfire as your experiences unfolded. Great write up. I am still amazed at how many people are afraid or for religious reasons refuse to believe spirits inhabit the earth.
