Why Vegetarian.?

Kryta Yuga,Treta Yuga,Dwapara Yuga and now we have Kali yuga each yuga is 4 to 8 billion years.(Wikipedia).

Perhaps our India beliving in these yuga's was pure 100% vegetarian in earlier yuga.Sri Rama's period was Treta Yuga and Sri Krishna was in Dwapara yuga.

Were these mythological gods vegetarians.Sri Rama being himself God would not kill any animal, even The Rakshasa Ravana's army went to wake up his brother Kumbakarna who was sleeping and was suposed to sleep for 6 months in a year and be awake 6 months during the rest of the year,he had to woken up and only the sweet smell of food would wake him up.The Army went there with huge food tray's as shown in the TV serial Mahabharat made after a research by Oriental Research Institute at Pune. This serial a first episode shown above shows the Army carrying huge trays of food all vegetarian.

We all Know that Krishna also as God and that he ate only butter as a child and god would not eat his own children be it animal or any species and specially the Holy Cow.

Meat v/s Vegetarian.

The Cost of one plate of chicken will be perhaps one full plate of 3 course delicious meal in any restaurant.

Just so we have to eat half a kg of beef we have to feed the cow 8 kg of grains.

If all over the world people eat only vegetarian food there will be food for 20 billion people.( The world population by 2040 is estimated at 9 billion.

The United States Govt releases free dairy food each year in millions of pounds for the poor and hungry not becouse of charity but to keep theit stock getting out of shelf life.

World wide movement is there to save Tiger the Man Eater but not the Milk giving harmless and innocent Cow.

In USA all are very careful in water conservation not food but do they all know that by killing a chiken they waste 5000 liters of water and they save that much if they eat only eggs.

If all the people in USA stop eating Pork and use Green Beans they would save 16,000 liters of water per pound of Pork.

The Great Greek Philosopher Socretes recommended a vegetarian diat becose it would allow a country to make the most intelligent use of agricultural resources.

Will there be a food shortage on account of people eating animals and being the grave yards for animals and creating not only food shortage but also water shortagetalking of water shortage we are searching if there is water on the moon. Will there be a War for Water or Food.

Save animals and save yourself but still you want to eat meat than kill a animal with your hands only with out using any tools.

The argument that even plants are sort of animals as they breath.Yes but they don't do what a animal does as you will see in a slughter house.Visit one its free. You will see they even process dead animals and wounded with pus also.

A 100 gram of meat has only 20 grams of protein of which 50% is water.A 100 gram of cheese has 25 grams of protein and a Top Sirlon Steak costs $10 or more while a Vegetarian Meal costs only $2 ( In Bangalore ).

USA will have plenty of Jobs if they all stop eating dead animals flesh and perhaps could use it for their people billions of dollars saved.

Now to go for Karma Food a 100% Veggetarian Diet.A spiritual Food.

Karma Diet.

What is Karma Food.

We are what we eat, this is a spiritual food or karma food.A question did crop up that we cannot consume any living being. So also a plant has got life, are we not taking out the life of a plant by plucking it and destroying its life,a plant also breaths.A plant has no organs like a animal,no blood,no flesh. We offer prayers to God thanking him for giving us the day's bread.Bread is not meat its pure wheat flour. That's what we offer to God not Tangdi Kabab.

By offering to God the Bread we assume he has tasted it.We do not taste till he tastes our food. When he tastes it becomes pure, the matter turns to spirit. The Bread has a divine taste after it is offered to God.The Food we prepare must be offered to God and the offering we make is not by the plate we eat we have a special plate only for keeping the day's preparations and offering to God,its than PRASAD.,the karma or the sin we did in taking a plant or vegetable or fruit is thus goes away when we offer God the food we prepare daily.Keep it before God tell him to take it pray or chant his name call him h will come,he has to come.Once your prayer and offering of food to God is finished the rest of the food is PURE and this is SPIRITUAL KARMA FOOD.

There are several Indian Spiritual Foods that qualify for God's offering, they may be selected like I have done here from You Tube.
