Updated on December 12, 2013

-Only a body or something more than that.
This hub tells you about the spirit in you which controls you. How your soul controls all the activities performed by you has been explained in depth over here.

Enjoy reading

Am I just a pack of flesh and bones composed of the five elements or five sense organs… and the five types of perception known through the senses or the five parts of the body which act… and their functions… After negating all of the above as 'not I, not I', the knowledge that alone remains is itself 'I'.

Actually if we concentrate on the fact as to where the center of our energy lies we would notice that it is the pituitary gland which controls the whole body. Any other part of body, if gets cut would not prove to be a dis-continuance in the life of that person but a slightest wound caused in the brain would hinder the functioning of the whole body. But the question arises that if the pituitary gland controls the other glands, WHAT IS THAT WHICH CONTROLS THE PITIUTARY GLAND?

The answer to above is that it is we; the souls who command over the whole body. Soul is a sentient point of light situated in between the hypothalamus and pituitary gland.

We keep changing from one body to another i.e. our physical body changes from one birth to another but what remains constant is we the point of light, the energy, which can neither be created nor destroyed. We are all souls, unique and different and remain so eternally. As such, souls are invisible to the naked eyes, but one can experience it's presence. A soul has no gender.

The intrinsic nature of the soul is that of love, peace, happiness, truth, bliss, purity. Therefore, souls always desire for experiences of these qualities. These are the qualities that naturally emerge when the soul is aware of itself, or in other words, is soul-conscious.
