Was Paul trying to claim God for himself?

A hut

Asking for a small hut is what God provides while asking for a modern mansion is what he will provided you. Its your choice.

I can only imagine (With lyrics) - MercyMe

God can meet all needs.

Paul was working with a group of Christians who were really helpful to him in his quest to spread the word of God. Paul and the financing Christians were believers of the same God. The only difference is that Paul was much aware of abundance of God's wealth , through Christ Jesus. God sorts out all needs brought before him because he is abundantly rich. Create a need for God to meet. It is needless to be envious while all you need is ask God to provide what you would have otherwise been envious of other people about. Your bank account or your boss has a limit for meeting your needs, but God's riches have no limits, and what's more, he is ready to share these with whomever asks..

Here i am to worship

A magnificent modern home

God is unlimitlessly rich. Ask big and receive big.
