Trials And Temptations-The Valleys Of Life

Updated on July 26, 2010

Are you stuck in the valley?

Valleys of life
Valleys of life

Valleys of life

There are many valleys in life and we will all have to face them. It's up to us what we do next. I believe valleys are trials and temptations.

No one is exempt from trials and temptations. They are an essential part of our growth/healing and we can't be healed unless we are aflicted by something. No one can say they have never felt anger, hate, revenge, unforgiveness, fear, anxiety, grief, jealousy, etc; for not to know one of these things is not to know the other, therefore one would be lieing if they said they had never experianced or felt all the above at one time or another. If we never experianced hate we would never understand love and so forth. We go from one to the other (wrong to right) if we are in God/of God. These are only some of the feelings/emotions we have (as a human race) experianced and still are experiancing to this day.

The question is..How long will we remain in the valley? The valley of bondage. How long will we suffer/allow it to keep us in it's grip and eventually destroy us? This valley destroys love, hope, joy, peace. forgiveness etc; which destroys life and we will remain in this bondage until we understand/see the light. We will go thru valleys and experiance/taste hate, anger, revenge, unforgiveness in order to obtain hope, joy, love, peace, forgiveness, etc; therefore we must go thru the valley to obtain them.

We are all born of the flesh. Flesh desires sin. No one in this world is worthy because we all sin. We all fall short of the glory of God. We all make mistakes and we will keep on making them either by our thoughts or our actions. No one is perfect except Christ. This is not to say we can't be perfected...but we must be inflicted to be perfected. Sin (things that are meant to destroy) will always try to take root in us and remain in us for as long as "humanly" possible.

We can become stronger and wiser through trials. Growth only happens through trials. It's the only way to grow. Thats why some don't complain when they are in the midst of a trial. They know they are growing. They have faith in the outcome. Amen.

So many give up because they keep going through trials. They think that because they believe in God and are saved, the trials are over/have come to an end. That they are delivered from trials so they give up. God wants us to learn and if your learning then your growing. Obviously God has his eye on you. Through trials we are delivered/healed.

We are of the flesh/in the flesh so we will have to indure, experiance, learn to grow in order to become children of God. God gave us His Holy Spirit to live by, to teach us and guide us so that we can come out/overcome the valleys we will face and stand upon the mountain/overcome. We just need to reach out and obtain the fruits of His Spirit and show others that they are obtainable.

1 Kings 20:28 says; "The Lord is God of the hills, but He is not God of the Valleys" so we must rise above the valleys and stand firm upon His mountain!

God provided everything we need/that is nessessary to be saved from sin/things that will try to destroy us, our salvation. If we are not of God-we cannot move. We will remain in bondage.

We can become stronger and wiser through trials. We can learn to recognize/disern through trials. We can become more aware of when evil is approaching (on the prowl) and cast it out before it gains a stronghold. God gave us his promise and his protection. God said he would never give us more than we could handle so we can overcome!

Will you be lifted out of whatever you are struggling with today/right now recieve Jesus Christ. For in Him you will find ALL there is to know! You will find peace beyond your understanding. There is healing and power in the blood that He shed for your sins. Are you ready to recieve Him? Are you ready to recieve Christ as your Savior? You don't have to carry these burdens and have them effect you the way they are doing, You don't have to dwell in the valleys. for Jesus took them to the cross.

Jesus knows your every need and He is ready, willing and able. By His Grace we are saved. Given freely to those who will recieve Him. Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. If you prayed this prayer and you are sincere, you are saved. God's Holy Spirit will indwell you and He will guide you, teach you so that you will be equipt to overcome every trial you face and...to top that off...You will spend eternity in heaven with Him! Praise God!

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest". "Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find reat for your souls" . "For My yoke is easy and my burden is light". This is God's promise.

Please take a moment and listen to this video by Third Day called "The Mountain Of God" It speaks of "The Valley".

Blessings to all!!!

Through the deepest valleys of life you learn more about yourself and who God really for you is! He is Love and loves you who you are and not in what you can. He loves you because you are His creation.

There is no peace in the valley and to remain there is not the will of God, for the will of God is to find/seek the door/the way/the truth/the light to freedom. To rise above our troubles and cling to hope/faith. For it is in hope, strife and faith that we find freedom. Learn from our mistakes and press on. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. Thank you Tamarajo and God bless you!

This reminds me of a verse in Hosea chapter 2:14,15

14 “ Therefore, behold, I will allure her,

Will bring her into the wilderness,

      And speak comfort to her.

I will give her her vineyards from there,

      And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope;

      She shall sing there,

Achor means trouble. Her (Gomer, Hosea's unfaithful wife) valley of troubles were self created. She went looking for love in all the wrong places. She was in a bondage of her flesh and her desires. But God leads her to the wilderness so He can speak comfortably to her. It is the valley oftrouble she finds herself in that she discovers hope.

It is in our troubles that we will find the door of hope. and in John 10:9 Jesus says that He is the door exactly as your hub concludes.

      Lovely Hub pure and true.

God is so speedy in our recovery. He gets right to work. His timing is perfect. When the trials begin and we put our faith in Him, healing cometh after. Trust in the Lord with all your heart for He knows what He is doing. Thank you Jesus!

TimeHealsAll, My God,Our Heavenly Father God, His Son Christ Jesus, My Brother, and My Brother The Holy Spirit, is a God of Love. God is Love Eternal and Unconditional.

My God would not, could not, ever inflict trials temptations or any of the ill feelings like envy or hatred or lust or anxiety or grief, impatience. These are not of God......These are stumbling blocks placed in our path by satan and his followers, to test our faith and loyalty to God,to Our Father and Jesus.

God's Holy Spirit dwells within us, joined with our own spirit, in order to guide us away from all of these stumbling blocks, but of course if we choose not to listen to Him, choosing to do things our way, we inevitably will and must stumble, but it is not God who placed the problem at our feet, it was satan. We refused, we chose to listen.

Our growth spiritually as well as humanly depends upon our hunger for knowledge, and our wisdom to know how and when to apply it and this is only learned through the powers of The Holy Spirit. Close your eyes, close your ears, close off your heart, ignore The Holy Spirit, your growth is stagnated.

      Sincerely,

      Brother Dave.

Trials are apart of life and God knows our hearts and through all of life's trials we learn. Being held captive in a valleys is a good sign that we are not changing as God is calling us to change.

Excellent hub and as always filled with wisdom...

      Blessings
