How to find Grace. We are not entitled and we do not deserve this Grace.

The Secret to finding grace

It takes a little bit to grasp this idea.

“We are not entitled to God’s grace” just sounds wrong. Are we not, all children of God? Did not Christ die for us to wash away all our sins? Christ in fact did purchase our forgiveness in His ultimate Sacrifice for us.

So when a parent passes away they may have some things that they can pass on to their children in a last will and testament. That sounds awfully familiar to the concept of grace. We are not entitled to our father's things but he gives them to us any way in an inheritance. Things gained through his hard work and suffering, yet we receive them. And so be it with grace.

How to find Grace

These days our self esteem seems so fragile that it is not OK to say, “I am not worthy”. The notion of original sin is not what I am speaking of. We are looking for something fantastically more simple. Grace is freely given. We do not need pay for it or earn it.

So finding Grace is all about accepting it. We have it already. But in order to benefit from it we must accept it. If in this world we inherit our father's home, we can still say no. Perhaps we do not like the location or perhaps it would kill us with taxes. We have the freedom to refuse the gift.

But we need look no further than our self in order to find it.

As He left this world He left our inheritance.

The secret to finding grace is here.

Here is the secret. It is very powerful and once you get it, you will not need to go to church anymore or worry about things. Relationships and business will be better. You will find happiness routinely and make others happy. Probably you will want to go to church more just to be around others that learned the secret.

I should charge an earthly fee for this secret. But I do get my reward elsewhere so I will not double dip.

The answer is blowin in the wind

It is called a State of Grace for a reason.

You are the one that Christ died for. He knew you 2000 years ago. He knew every hair on your head.

I think probably we are born with it. But we kick it aside for tactile earthly things and our own pleasure. But as we grow we soon realize those pleasures are transient and not lasting. So if we grow wiser we look within and find what was already there.

A road less traveled.

Hurry and get your Grace today

Ready, here it is: Ask for it.

Can it be that it is as simple as saying "here I am Lord and Spirit and Christ, now please fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me Grace"? Yes it really is that simple. But it is so hard for so many to have that much faith or to be that humble. And after all not all people want Grace. They would rather live in poverty of spirit and without abundance of faith and love.

But not you because you just read this hub and now you know exactly how to get it, and probably now know that you already have it.

Be good.

Our words should be muffled and yet our light shine. I preach Love and I have seen love change tragedy into Majesty. What miracle do we search for that is not already within us.

Thank you for sharing your very cool thoughts. We are brethren in our trek.

Amen!!!! This reminds me of Matthew 9:30-31 "And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: "See that no one knows about this!" But they went out and spread the news about Him throughout all that land."

How not spread the "secret". Keep spreading the seed bro...harvest time is coming!

Hi Ericdierker... made it and I can tell I do need to do some reading and catch up. I learned some 12 years ago His grace is sufficient and have never looked back. I love the way you have put this together...
