Weapons To Defeat Satan
The Rosary is said to be the most powerful prayer on Earth.
Praying the Rosary consists of a vocal component in the recitation of the prayers and a mental component in the meditation on certain "mysteries" of the faith. Learn How to Pray the Rosary.
Indulgences are given to those who recite the Rosary. Have a read of the 15 promises of the Rosary.
"The power of prayer has made saints from sinners." - Our Lady, October 2, 1972.
"Prayer can overrule all evil." - Our Lady, June 18, 1992.
"I give you this lesson of reality, My children: the demons cannot stay with the sound of prayer ringing in the air." - Jesus, September 14, 1976
"Whenever you have a decision to make, I repeat, you will pray once, pray again, and then you will be given the light of understanding. Pray once, pray again, and you will be given the light." - Our Lady, November 20, 1974
More than ever in the current state of the world we live in, we need to be knowledgeable about our religion. There is a growing outcry against the faith from scientific minds and those who have faith are often unable to fight back, because they don't even know their own religion! We need to read our Bibles daily, even 15 minutes.
We have been warned from Heaven that many recent translations of the Bible have been modified to suit mankind. I recommend finding the King James Version (not the New King James Version) - it is in old English and all the names have been written in such a way that one can learn to pronounce them properly (with a guide in the front).
"Scientists and professional men of your earth are led astray and have become unbelievers in the Eternal Father as God, because they are ever learning but never coming to the truth. Because, My child, they do not know the difference between the physical body and the eternal soul." - Jesus, April 10, 1976
"You must all obtain a copy of the Book of life and love, the Bible. Do not accept the new mods. Try to find in your bookstores the old Bibles, My children, for many are being changed to suit the carnal nature of man. I repeat, sin has become a way of life." - Our Lady, October 6, 1992
"I ask all who hear My voice will take their Bibles, and if they do not have one, search, but find the right Bible, those printed not after 1965, My children." - Jesus, October 5, 1985.
If you are able to fast from certain foods, that is great, but sometimes you may not be able to (if you are ill, for example). Most people associate fasting with food, such as during Lent.
However, another example of fasting would be to give up watching television a couple of nights a week. It is associated with denying one's self. Television is a bit of a time waster and the content of most programs is not something I believe teaches children good moral values. It's all full of crime, sex, violence, talking back to parents, tattoos, alcohol, drugs, you get the picture...
A message from Our Lady called for fasting on Wednesdays and Fridays. A lot of people choose not to eat meat on these days.
"Many demons can only be dispelled by much fast and penance, the greatest source being prayer." - Jesus, December 31, 1973
Holy Communion (Eucharist)
The term Eucharist means "thanksgiving". In this Sacrament, instituted in the Last Supper, we give thanks to the Lord for offering his Body and Blood for the salvation of all mankind.
People in a state of grace should only receive Communion (ie they should have gone to Confession prior to receiving Communion). Those not in a state of grace may go up and cross their arms (place their hands on opposite shoulders) for a blessing from the priest.
As for receiving Communion, I myself, after coming to this knowledge, need to humble myself and kneel before a priest to receive it in my mouth, not by my hands. Mankind is proud, this is something we all need to overcome.
"My children, kneel before your God in the Eucharist. Do not stand like you stand in meeting halls, but kneel and give Him a just love and observance of honor." - Our Lady, July 14, 1979
"You must not take the Body of My Son in your hand! You open the door for the entrance of evil spirits to defile My Son's Body! The consecrated fingers of a duly ordained man of God, the priest, shall place My Son into your mouth, and you must absorb His Body with goodness and love." - Our Lady, March 22, 1975
Not many look forward to going to Confession (Sacrament of Reconciliation).
This is because we are too proud to admit it when we are wrong. When we do know we have sinned, then we are too ashamed to confess our sins to the priest.
I am yet to muster the courage to go to Confession. Knowing I should and not doing it eats away at me slowly, it isn't good and it's sinful. I should realize that the priest has heard it all before and very little if anything is going to surprise him. It is just the courageous first step that is the most daunting. Demons love this, they help us rationalize away the necessity of receiving this Sacrament.
Always keep your Sacramentals about you. They are spiritual armor given to us from Heaven.
"Learn the use every day of holy water throughout your household. Insist even with obstructions, insist that your children always wear a sacramental. One day they will understand that they will repel the demons." - Our Lady, September 13, 1977
"Remember, keep your sacramentals constantly upon you: your brown Scapular, your St. Benedict medal, the Miraculous Medal, and also the medal of Our Lady of the Roses. You must keep them upon you, with a crucifix. We demand a crucifix because demons, many of the highest ones in the realms of hell, cannot stand the sight of a crucifix." - Jesus, June 18, 1987
