What Every Christian Should Know in Order to Grow Spiritually
In this day and time, information is at everybody's fingertips. There is absolutely nothing that people can't find out if they really want to know something. However, it is amazing how little Christians know about their own religion and the things they say they believe. It's strange they say they believe something without even knowing what it is.
People who have attended church services almost every Sunday over the years should have picked up some information from Bible teachers and preachers. It is unfortunate that some preachers and Bible teachers in the church don't know some of the major doctrines, what's in the Bible, and why they believe what they do.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:2 that "I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready." Paul also said in Romans 1:3, "Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren." However, there are some ignorant Christians, according to what Paul said and he had reasons for saying so.

Learn As You Grow Spiritually
As Christians grow and develop spiritually, they will learn more about the Bible and things relating to God. Therefore, they should be intentional about reading and studying the Bible on a regular basis. They should not leave it up to their pastor to tell them everything that is in the Bible.
A lot of people say they do not understand the Bible. Therefore, they do not read it. However, in order to understand the Bible, you must read it and allow God to speak to you as you read. The Bible is the only book that you can read while the author is there with you.
