What is Christ Consciousness?

Updated on October 8, 2015

I’m not sure if you’ve heard this term before. Part of my awakening process was to search for information and learn more about world as a whole. The definition of Consciousness is the state of being aware or awake of ones surroundings. Christ is an ascended master, well known for his teachings of love, light, compassion, humanity, forgiveness, acceptance, tolerance, hope, faith and peace.

Social conditioning and beliefs passed down from generation to generation tells us that our purpose on earth is simply to live life, reproduce, and reach for heaven and that is the way to go. But there’s so much more. Man has literally shut out the inner Christ Consciousness that exists in each of us as a birthright here on earth. Many believe that GOD is someone we worship and our connection to him is only through worship, however, let’s look at GOD as the universe. GOD is the divine source that connects all energy, humans, animals, plants, trees. So you could say a piece of the divine is in each of us. We are all connected to the divine by LOVE.

How does one become Christ Conscious? It is quite simple, as I stated before we are all connected but the more we show love, embrace our light, show compassion for others, forgive, accept others regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, looks, and the sooner as we become tolerant and have faith and inner peace determines how soon we become awakened or show our Christ Consciousness. Spiritual awakenings means breaking free of social conditioning and patterns that make us more robotic than human. Expressing our feelings, showing unconditional love. Seeing there is more to life than what we see with our eyes. Embracing new viewpoints of spirituality and how we are all spiritual beings living a human experience. Now having Christ Consciousness is difficult to maintain because we often revert back to our social conditioning teachings of fear, hate, anger, you know all the emotions that lower our vibrations and that distances us from being Conscious. The goal is to always strive for love, compassion, hope, happiness. All the good things that connect us with the divine and makes us enlightened.

I also believe many of the awakened, enlightened, Christ conscious individuals have endured many hardships. This could range from anything like domestic violence, abuse of any kind, bullying, hardships like financial, and medical. Those who have endured hardships and still show love to others and themselves. Those who have overcome the odds and still show all the characteristics of love are Christ Conscious. Ask most light workers and awakened individuals what type of things they’ve experienced and what I’ve found is that most people who are awakened have endured hardships but yet show compassion and light. They show their Christ Consciousness.

Again there may be many interpretations or other beliefs but I wanted to explain what I believe is Christ Consciousness and how we all are connected in this grid called life. The more aware we are of our surroundings and life, the more this world will change for the better. As light workers you have the power to make a difference. Don’t let people or obstacles deter you from your spiritual journey or path.

There is no right way to achieve an awakening as we all learn and process information differently. Be patient and continue to learn and ask questions. The more you are “OPEN” to new concepts and ways of learning the more connected you are to your true spiritual self.

Stay Tuned, Stay Connected, and Stay Awake.

Blessings in Love n Light.
