What is Your Mission Impossible?

Updated on July 9, 2012

What is there in your life that God is directing you to do?

Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God."
Luke 18:27, New International Version

What is there in your life that God is directing you to do, yet you feel it is impossible? Is there a broken relationship God is moving you mend, yet you feel it is impossible. The person refuses to reconcile. At that hour the Holy Spirit will empower you with the proper words to use. Reconciliation may not happen, but you will have peace in your heart.

Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. Mark 13:11 New International Version

There were toxic relationships I was involved in that kept on torturing me. Although there is no love in the relationship there is now respect and the abuse has stopped.

Do you feel an urge to move out of your comfort zone and go someplace you know nothing about, maybe a mission trip? God will give you the necessary tools to complete His assignment for you.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 New International Version

This has happened to me in coming to China for one. I don’t regret it at all.

God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

That is certainly true in my calling.

Do you have a deep wound caused by someone that you can’t heal? Take it to Jesus. He will heal you.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalms 147:3

There has been some really deep cuts in my heart, but through Jesus’ loving grace, the great doctor has healed me. It takes time and faith on your part before Jesus can do His part. It was very painful, but sometimes operations of the heart are. Now, again I am so grateful for my loving Jesus’ tender care that He has healed me.

So how about you? Are you willing to take that leap of faith?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireh (god our provider) give me the strength, wisdom and faith to follow Your divine leading. May it bring You the so richly deserved honour You so richly desevere. May it also bring the little lost sheep to Your loving arms. I pray this in the great Sheppards name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

My publisher is supposed to be turning my book into an e-book for free but I haven't seen anything yet. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely check them out. I've also looked into making my own low budget sound booth to do recordings. I'm concerned that if I only go with e-book there will be some who don't have access to that kind of technology. I'm thinking of ways to make it as accessible as possible; remove any barriers or excuses for learning about Jesus. I just can't afford to put anymore money into it.

      Hi Cammy.

      God for you.

I have programs where I can turn my word documents into ebooks for free. Look up Nitro Reader,Primo pdf and mini pocketbook creator

I would like to set up a program here where people can donate say ten dollars to help me meet my monthy expences. In return they would recieve one of my ebooks. Being in China pay pal is blocked and it is very limited to what can be done.

I feel God urging me to write these books and publish them independantly.

God bless you and your great work

I agree! I want everything I write to be an inspiration to others! I collected all my writings for about 2 years and found a self publishing company to publish them as a devotional journal with the keys to salvation at the end. My goal was to reach those who would probably never pick up a Bible on their own. I'm trying hubapages and other social sites to get the word out. I'm thinking of making an audio version on my own for low cost copies I can hand out or donate to ministries and missions. I'm just trying different avenues and praying for direction. God bless you and may we encourage others and each other in reaching those who need it most!

      Hi Cammy

      What a coincidence,

That is exactly what happened to me with the writing. It has taken the Holy Spirit two years to teach me how how to write and can't believe how far He has advanced me. I knew nothing about writing, especially online.I am still learning.

      You write very good articles.

It is interesting that your are long while mine are short. He works in differant styles for differant people.

I pray if anybody is being lead by the Holy Spirit to learn something and are having difficulties they read your comment and mine and find encouragement.

      God bless you.

This is a great hub! One of my favorite verses is Luke 12:12, "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say". God crosses our path with others for a reason and he leads us to minister and counsel with them by the power of the Holy Spirit. God called me to step outside my comfort zone in 2006 to write. I actually argued with the Holy Spirit that I couldn't write or even know what to write about. Three times he said "write". So, I began to scribble and He continued to inspire! God blessed me immensely in the process!

Thanks Teacherjoe for encouraging us to do what jesus said do. Sometimes, God will need a light in some very dark places. Thanks for reminding us that he is there, and we are not doing this alone. God Bless.

Hey oceansider, Just doing what the good book says:Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other James 5:16.

You are the second woman on this site that has been added to morning prayer list.

I am happy that the article lead you into the most warm, comforting, loving, secure arms there has ever been Pamela.

So how is the heat wave there? I lived in Waterloo for six years about twenty years ago. Loved the St Mary's farmers Market. Just thinking of those Minnonite sauages makes me drool. ha ha. I used to volunteer at Kitchener Waterloo hospital. I don't know what they call it now.

      God bless you.

Hi teacherjoe, another article I really enjoyed reading, thank you!

Yes, to us, things seem impossible, but with God as you and I both know, NOTHING is impossible! I have prayed, asking the Lord if I should go on my church's mission trip to Peru in Sept. If Jesus wants me to go, He will provide the money for this.....I know that, and I have had the desire to go on a mission trip, so I'll see what His answer is!....Can't wait to find out!

      Take care, Helen
