Are you taking exams? Know someone who is taking exams? Exams can be an extremely stressful time, especially if you come from a culture that places heavy emphasis on exams. As Christians, one of the good things that we can count on during exams is that we have a God whose presence is with us all the time, and He will enable and guide us as we prepare and do our exams.


What are some practical things that you can pray for during exams?

  1. Good memory for facts
  2. Quick and good understanding of concepts
  3. Ability to apply knowledge learned
  4. Good understanding of the exam question demands
  5. Accurate and quick recall of facts
  6. Good health during exam and before exams
  7. No pain or discomfort during exam (eg. stomach ache, aching hands...)
  8. Energy during study
  9. Focus and concentration
  10. Stamina for the entire exam period
  11. Clear mind during the examination
  12. Motivation to study
  13. Fair marking
  14. Grace / favor shown by the marker / examiner
  15. Ideas when answering question
  16. Precision and accuracy, no carelessness

      Thank you!! Really needed to read this list, my exams start next monday and its good to know God is here with me as I try to motivate myself to work!! And regardless of my results Jesus still loves me!!

      Thank you for dropping by! Yes you are right, this list can definitely apply to anyone. The reason I put Christians is because these principles are drawn from the Bible. Perhaps I should add in some Bible verses.
