When We Die Do We Go To Heaven Or Paradise?
Many people believe when they die, they will go to Heaven. This has been taught in churches for hundreds of years. However, this is not what is written in the bible. In the bible it is written that when will die, instead of going to heaven, we will enter Paradise. There is a difference between Heaven and Paradise.
The first man who will be going to Paradise will be a man who was crucified along with Jesus Christ. Luke 23: 41-43 "We are punished justly, for we are getting what we deserve, but this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said " Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom." Jesus answered him, " I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in Paradise".
Jesus told the man he would be in Paradise, but not when he would be in Paradise, because in Revelation we have been taught several things about Heaven and Paradise.
Jesus tells us in John 3:13 No one has ever gone to Heaven except the One who came down from Heaven, the Son of man.
Revelation also teaches many things about Paradise and Heaven. Revelation 20:11-13 The I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated.....And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne and the books of life were opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they have done as recorded in the books. And the sea gave up it's dead, and Hades gave up the dead that were in "them" and each person was judged according to what he had done.
In Jewish teachings Hades means people will simple awake from the earth. People are simply asleep in the ground. So, not only will the sea give up it's dead, so will the earth. Hades can also be translated and the underworld. This can be explained in John 5:28 They all await in their graves for resurrection. Death is not life in Heave or hell, limbo, or purgatory. Death is not life of any kind. The soul does not live, the spirit does not live. It only sleeps.
Another important fact can be found in Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new Heaven and a new earth, and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.
Why would God create a new earth, Wouldn't that be Paradise? It also tell us in the bible that 144,000 will enter Heaven, and who the 144,000 will be. Revelation 7:4 And I hear the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from every tribe of the sons of Israel. The sons have also been called " A Remnant Of Israel"
Another Verse in Revelation 22:3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and the Lamb will be in the city and his servants will serve Him. This verse does not say his angels will serve him. Perhaps the 144,000 will be his servants.
The bible also tells us how wonderful Paradise will be. In Paradise God will wipe away every tear, there will be no pain, the sun will shine and it will be filled with joy.
- Had The Earth Been Destroyed Before Adam And Eve?
There are two verses in the bible about the creation of the earth. The second is about Adam and Eve. In the first, however man and woman were told to replenish the earth.
- Many Antichrists, Yet More To Come...
The Antichrist is not only one person, but perhaps even a group of people. No matter, who the Antichrist is, it is pure evil
