When do You Give it?
A heart of gratitude is a great offering
Do you give thanks ?
Do you give thanks at each meal?
If so, then when? Do you say thanks before, during or after the meal?
For me personally I like to say thanks quietly during the meal, even if I don’t enjoy it. Have you ever starved before? I have. Perhaps that is why all the meals are appreciated.
If possible, why not try going on a three day fast? Every time you get hungry think of all the starving children in the world and be grateful for Gods blessing to you.
Do you just repeat prayers like a robot, or do they come from your heart?
For a show make lengthy prayers. Mark 12:40.
Have you ever met the windbags? The type that just goes on and on and on in their prayers. By the time they are finished the food is cold. They are just blowing in the wind. Jesus is not interested in all your pretty words or long winded prayers or just reciting a creed. He will only listen when you speak with Him heart to heart.
Prayer: Jesus my Pyyrand (Jesus my friend) I love when we have our intimate talks, not just at meal time, but all trough the day. Thank you for always being available for me. In your wonderful name I give thanks. Amen.
May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
