Where You Can Find The Answer...
"We suffer at the hands of the world so that we are forced to look inside ourselves for the answers."
It's easier to look elsewhere!
It has been snowing for 3 straight days where I live and the snow is exquisite. It's like looking into the light. The snow has actually covered everthing that is not vertical. When I have a day like this to contemplate my next move, I usually go inward, but today the light is bouncing off the snow and it is breathtaking.
I've told you before that I can be as big a drama queen as anyone so I have been putting myself through the paces. Oh, the suffering! I love God or 'the originator' of the universe, whichever you believe in, but I still don't want to surrender to God or "ori". I really want it all to be true, the all of us as one thing. I would just delight in it if there was an ultimate authority where I could leave all my decisions. And everything would always turn out perfectly. So far, I have great faith in the Holy Spirit and the One I call God. And it is not because of them that I suffer. It is because of Us.
If we are similar, I could say that life is challenging and you would agree with me. It seems like life is cleverly disguising the onslaught of itself. It brings everything that would make you a better person overall and it dumps it on you like an avalanche. I am amazed at the human spirit. Some of us are so brilliant in every single way that our energy is transformative. Others of us want to hurt a lot of people. What is going on that the second group is looking at? What misery are they suffering that they think killing and injuring people might not even be enough to get by this crisis in their life?
People are still procreating abundantly because there are now over 7 billion of us, but what are people teaching their children that grow up to hate and fear so much? What is being said and done to these children that all they can think to do is hurt people?
In the west, especially, children are left to their own devices much of the time because both their parents need to work to make a living for their family. I would like to blame politicians, but we are the ones who keep electing them and this piece is about going inside to find the answers, so I don't want to look at our elected officials for the answers. I want to look at what is inside each of us and examine what we are ALL teaching each other.
Having children is an enormous priviledge and responsibility. A person must accompany their children through their lives. We cannot wash our hands of our responsibility to raise children properly. We cannot raise children and let them become a menace to us all. Now, I don't know exactly what properly is when it comes to raising children, but it is a question that needs to be asked by every one of us, because we are all teaching each other. The question is......what are we teaching each other? The answer is look within for the answer. Teach ONLY love.
I love you,
