You are Mielikki

You are Mielikki goddess of forest, hunt and abundance. In Finnish folklore Mielikki represents two aspects of womanhood; the independent wild woman who runs free in the forests and the nurturing mother goddess who takes care of the wounded animals and those who have lost their way. Mielikki´s symbol is the bear. She was also a shape sifter goddess and could transform herself as a bear.

Just like Mielikki you always follow your own heart. You feel safe in nature. Animals, trees, plants, sun, moon and the stars all are your friends. You are stubborn, determined, independent and you raise your goals high and try to have as much fun as possible while reaching them. You are free spirited and at the same time you are motherly, nurturing and caring. You are natural and connected to the earth.


You are Vellamo

You are Vellamo Finnish goddess of the sea and waters. Vellamo had ability to create giant waves and calm the most stormy waters. Vellamo´s symbols are fishes, cows and sea shells. Vellamo was prayed by fishermen to give them fish and good steady wind to their sails.

Name of Vellamo comes from old Finnish word velloa meaning the movement of water. Throughout times water has been connected to feelings and emotions. Calm still waters can turn into a storm in a moment. Just like Vellamo you are very connected to your emotions. You are highly spiritual, intuitive, sensitive, trustworthy and reliable. You are a very good listener and good at keeping secrets. You value your friendships a lot. You love the sea and the beach. Feeling the sand in your toes and breeze in your face. Same way as the sea heals you your energy can heal others.


You are Akka

You are Akka goddess of the earth and fertility. In Finnish mythology Akka is the embodiment of the earth. Akka´s sacred tree is rowan. Her symbols are snakes and worms. She was celebrated during Matopäivä (Spring equinox). It was believed that when Akka woke up on Matopäivä after her long winter sleep snakes and worms rose from the dark soil and started dancing in her honor.

You are motherly and nurturing. You respect the earth and everything the earth represents. Your heart cries when you see people hurting nature. You like to take care of other people but remember to take care of yourself as well. Snake represents two worlds. Earth which is the element of a practical person. Someone who likes to take the lead and get things done. Snake also lives in the water. Element of dreams, imagination and intuition. You are a beautiful soul who has lot to offer to this world.

You are Louhi

You are Louhi Finnish goddess of magic, moon and shamanism. Louhi is a powerful shaman in the Finnish folklore. She is connected winter, night time, drumming, crone wisdom and shamanic journeying. Wolves are Louhi´s sacred animals. In pre-written times she was honored during Talvipäivän Tasaus the Winter Solstice.

You are someone who loves being you. Even when your journey to self-love has had it´s ups-and downs you haven´t let that put you down. You are independent free spirit and you live your life the way that you want. You are strong, powerful and wise. You are very intuitive and good at reading others. People often come to you to seek your advice´s and respect your wisdom and your experiences. You don´t just believe in magic. You are magic!
