Why Am I Here On Earth: Purpose for living
“Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find ''tomorrow'' on the calendars of fools. Forget yesterday's defeats and ignore the problems of tomorrow. This is it. Doomsday. All you have. Make it the best day of your year.
The saddest words you can ever utter are, ''If I had my life to live over again. ''Take the baton, now. Run with it! This is your day! Beginning today, treat everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, as if they were going to be dead at midnight.
Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.”- Og Mandino
This is the essence of living. As energy particles that transformed into matter and capable of rational thought or as living miracles of an all loving God, we are here in this planet to evolve into something amazing.
Pick and choose your stand, believe by faith or prove the connection to an hydrogen particle in the big bang, we are here. I love Og Mandino’ quotes, an American Essayist and Psychologist, (1923-1996) that has a very particular way of presenting a point.
We are here to learn how beautiful we really are as creatures of energy, light and spirit. I don't care about your back ground, your defective genes, handicaps, beliefs or what ever or not you think you have any worth at all , I see the light in you. Living inspired is finding beauty in everything. It takes many different roads and deep understanding of your own humanity to be inspired.
"When you are inspired by some great purpose , some extraordinary proyect, all your thoughts break their bonds, your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great , and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties, and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”- Pantanjali
Don't confuse motivation with being inspired. Motivated people move from driven ego and they move forward and accomplish their goals with the determination of an idea. Being inspired takes hold of your whole being and transforms your perception of the “ goal”. It fulfills you and it’s not a challenge anymore.
That is why I am here. I am in an endless journey to find the best version of me possible. My ultimate goal is to be a spiritual being having a human experience instead of the other way around, as Wayne Dryer call it living in spirit. This is what it means to have purpose. I attribute my trials, my short comings, and all those thing that make me human and fallible to the teachings of life.
When I was very young, one of my greatest teachers told me that the lotus flower grows and blooms in the mud. The thicker the mud the more beautiful the bloom will be. As the lotus, I want to bloom out of adversity and show other flowers, that even mud can bring about beauty into the world .
