Why Are There So Many Church Denominations?
Squeeze into our building
Most modern Christians will take this question as a joke, because they are so relaxed at the current church that they go to, almost as if they have no clue about the God that they are supposed to be serving. I have noticed that when I try to mention some of the scarier things mentioned in the Bible, they will show some concern in the facial expression on their face, but there will still be zero conviction when it comes to getting up and doing something different with their life. You might wander what this overly relaxed nature has to do with church denominations, but it seems as if the relaxedness has also drifted over into the area of how seriously they take the Bible. I was speaking to a church Deacon about how the noisy singing that they were doing, not being very edifying. We were then discussing about whether it is spiritual for a person to be making noise in the church and he then made mention that the Apostles were standing and doing a similar thing on the day of Pentecost. I said that they were sitting, but he disagreed, so I went to Acts 2 and sure enough it said they were sitting, but the Deacon seemed to be in a confused state, almost as if his brain had short circuited, because it always has to be right. I could not get him to say that he was wrong, which was not not a problem for me, but it was God who arranged for the words to be put in the Bible. I was then speaking to another church person and we were talking about the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation 11, when I mentioned that they would have fire coming from their mouths, which he did not believe. I then went to the Bible and read the verses which agreed with what I had said and he then proceeded to make up a reason why what the Bible said meant something different, without using any other scriptures.
No, squeeze into our building
Fake doctrines are the in thing
The way that these two church people have responded shows why the current church setup is so divided, with so many denominations, because all of these churches have not been founded on the things that are written in the Bible, but are based on the random ideas that each church leader had in their head, with the Bible then just being used so that they can take selected verses from it that match their particular doctrine. The true doctrine of God is obviously in the Bible, but it is inconvenient because it would make it difficult to extract money from people who hate God, but feel that a church is a good place for them to pretend that they are a superior worshipper of God. The church leaders know that these fake people are the ones who are the most willing to pay their way into the kingdom, while bypassing God's word, so it is most profitable for the church leaders to put God's word to the side, so that they can fill their churches with these people. Because the majority of fake Christians already hate God, they could care less what the doctrine of the church is, as long as they like the place and the preachers are making it seem as if they are going to make it to heaven. They do not realise, though, that some of these church leaders do know what they are doing and have their speech lined up for judgement day, where they will say to God that they gave the word to the congregation, but they would not listen, so it is not their fault if the congregation ends up burning. But I have a feeling that God will not accept that excuse, because the church leaders should have just preached the hard truth, while not caring if the fake members depart, then made do with having to go from house to house, if they run out of money for the building, which would not be a problem because of how the early church was run. The fake people that are currently packing the modern Christian churches, can also act as a witness against the fake pastors and preachers, because they can tell that they are obviously trying to please them, to get their money, but they can read at anytime in the Bible, that God had never sent a prophet out to speak smooth words to Israel, so why would He start doing that now, when things like divorce and abortion are a lot worse now. You might also wonder where I did get the idea about the pastors having their excuses ready, well it has come from actually talking to them and I have noticed that when I ask why the congregation has not improved, they will sometimes give me a sheepish look and say that they have told them these things, but haven't had any response, so yes these pastors really do have these excuses in their mind, so their congregations had better watch out and study to show themselves approved unto God, as workmen that need not to be ashamed, because they can rightly divide the word of truth (Why does the word of truth have to be divided? Something for the fake Bible scholars to work out).
We are the biggest, so must be the truth
Here are two classic scriptures that have a good description of what people in a fake church expect from the leaders. The first one shows the type of preaching that the fake people would expect and it is Isaiah 30:8-11 which says "Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us." and we see here that God is complaining about how His people preferred to hear smooth words and lies from the prophets, which is basically what is being done by most modern Christian churches. It is also obvious that the churches that have the smoothest preachers, also seem to be the biggest ones as well, as if modern humans are naturally attracted to lies. The next one shows how the people will then respond even if a serious message is preached and it is Ezekiel 33:30-32 which says "Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not." and we see here that God is reading their minds to show how the people are thinking, even though outwardly it seems as if they are a good church person who listens diligently to the preacher, while even complementing him on the good sermon, but knowing that they will ignore everything that was said, then go back to whatever it is that they covet in this world.
Selfish rule of destruction
Having visited a few churches it seems to me as if they are full of selfish and uncaring people, who will only be friendly with people who do not speak about any of the hard things in the Bible. These selfish people seem to be very resilient and they seem to have managed to influence the doctrines of these churches, so that things are mostly done just to please them. The selfish people will obviously prefer to just sit in a building, so you will find that most modern churches will not take evangelism seriously and some of these people will not even try to give an excuse, when they are asked to evangelise, almost as if they do not have to care about doing anything hard, with God then welcoming them into His kingdom, simply because they think that they are such a wonderful person. If a non selfish person then tries to do something positive, hoping that they can melt the stone hearts of the selfish people, they will find out the hard way that stone can only be destroyed, rather than melted, which will then make it obvious that their positive action is a waste of time. The non selfish person might then try some other things, but will eventually have to give up, because tares cannot be converted into wheat. This then leads to the non selfish people, who could potentially cause churches to merge, being slowly destroyed out of the congregation, which then helps to reinforce the current separation. The selfish people that are left behind will not be interested in each other, so they will not team up to do anything, which then causes the modern Christian church to remain stagnant, until God hits the world with His next surprise.
