Why God Let Bad Things Happen

Updated on March 30, 2016

So many of us wonder why bad thing happen, it's hard for and adults but when a child ask that question, it's hard to explain.

Eight years ago little Janet heard about the 20 innocent children who was killed in Newton Ct. she broke down crying afraid to go to school the next day. I won't go she yelled at her mom, I might get shot. Mommy i want to be here Christmas. Mommy while God let bad things happen to kids like me?

God took all those boys and girls away from their mommy's and daddy's, why they had to die? .I sat their all teared up because of the emotion of this little girl, I didn't understand either. I thought about the parents of those innocent children and felt their pain because I to had lose a child to street violence.

I thought about the officer who broke the new to me about my own son, I wanted someone to tell me why but their was no sufficient answer.

God is a cruel she yelled out, the families will be sad at Christmas because their children won't be their. Her mother spoke, honey God needed 20 angels in Heaven to help decorate the biggest Christmas tree in the world, with that answer she smiled.

Here your answer: Bad things happen to "good" people for the same reasons they happen to "bad" people
