Why We Do Not Have To Die

Updated on October 22, 2017

We do not have to die because God has provided a way for us to live-eternally, anyone who is reconciled to Him shall live on after the fall of Adam and Eve. We need not pay for the mistakes that they made... It is at your spiritual discretion to view this as a matter of fact.

In Genesis 2:16 God said, 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Everyone was bound to live for always had Eve not been deceived. Eve was deceived by the devil as she was momentarily away from her husband Adam in the garden. God meant man to live forever. In Gen. 1: 30 God said, “I have given every green herb for meat.” In order for God to fulfill His promises to us, even today, we must be obedient to His written Word to receive them. He did not make our bodies, to digest animals, processed and junk foods.

We Do Not Have To Die If We

  • Honor God’s Commandments
  • Honor the health message: eating vegetation, fruit, legumes, nuts, exercising, and consuming nature (air, sun, water) and rest
  • Follow in the footsteps of Christ
  • Pray daily
  • Walk the straight and narrow way

People should start exercising faith and believe in what was thought to be impossible. The Lord says in the Bible Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

With the way the world is today, we can no longer ignore the existence of God and what His purposes are for. It only takes for an individual to use the mind to believe in the truth of God be obedient to His law, commands and principles. It is just that simple. Believing in God is to believe in His miracles. He does not do magic. He responds to those who are in His likeness and those who have the potential to be in His likeness. He gives us time to make up our minds to recognize and choose Him in order to be saved through His plan of redemption. It may not be for everyone but is for you.

We can live forever in one fashion or another. So surely, I believe that I will live forever. I am preparing for it as I have nothing to lose by doing so.

I liked this message. I especially like when you say God responds to those who are in his likeness. This is true. It is amazing that people don't get that all you have to do to be in his likeness is believe in him and make him part of your life.

I think it was Manatita that mentioned to me in a comment about going to the place where no speech is necessary, and I took that as meaning going to heaven with God. However, I feel he has given us the ability already to speak without speech; especially when we speak to him. I know some who think this is not realistic. I, nevertheless, believe with my whole heart, I talk and know him on a personal level. I totally could not have made it this far in life without believing in him and his spiritual words he speaks to me through my heart.

I talk a lot about how I was so shy and shut off from the world up until probably my early thirties. It was God that I finally let in to help me be brave enough to do just what I am doing today, which is, telling my story through poetry and my own words.

You also mentioned his word when it comes to how we live and eat today. We should exercise in God's word and not eat so many of the convenient processed foods while sitting in front of our television sets. I remember eating at the table every night when I was young, but somewhere this generation has gotten lost. I just yesterday had a conversation with my son about eating at the table more often and getting that habit back. I believe he was interested in it, and I was happy about that. It seems the only time we do that now is when we feast with the family on Holidays.

I saw so many good points in this article, so for that, you know it is a very important article and subject matter you touched on here. Great work, Great words, and God Bless!

A beautiful New Year's message, and one we truly need. The mass destruction of the Spirit has affected us and we are creeping on our way back. Any form of inspiration which helps us to stand, walk, jog and run or even sprint is to be appreciated. One day we'll fly. Gratitude, Bro. For being a truly noble Soul.

A sublime message. Only if people read scriptures and understood what God actually said, the world would have been a better place.
