Why look at them

Updated on September 27, 2012

Flollow His lead

Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” Jesus answered, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” John 21:20-22

When you know Gods chosen path for you, do not look at others and compare yourself to them. Do not look at brothers or sisters, cousins, classmates or neighbours. Look straight ahead to your path. If you are looking this way or that how can you walk your chosen path? Try walking down a sidewalk constantly looking to your left, right and back. See how easy it is? Then why do you make Gods chosen path more difficult for yourself? All that does is cause unnecessary frustration in you life.

What we are is God's gift to us. What we become is our gift to God. Louis Nizer

Prayer: Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) help us to be grateful to You for creating us in Your own special way instead of comparing ourselves to others. I ask this in the name of our unique savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
