Poem :Looking again to my youth!

Updated on March 11, 2012

Looking again to my youth!

Because everything

I experienced when

I was a youngster.

Easily came again

proving itself even

much more solid

and true!

Now I have grown

and became a man

It did not take too

long for me to get

the understanding

that it was something

Truly magnificent!

Something mighty!

Something powerful!

had always been

looking down at me.

Even when I was

locked in any room

by myself doing

whatever it was I

was doing,

even pinching out

a little piece of meat

out of the pot

believing my mom

was asleep.

How smart was I?

Her eyes were also

there and on me

I could not wait.

Even when taking

a chance to use an

obscene word,

hopping no adult

hears me.

Yes it was like that

while growing up.

Any respectable

could easily earn

their kudos

if they would catch

any youngsters

doing anything ,

which our mothers

Especially my mother

had already sworn.

Placed it on the news.

Already gave notice.

That if she were to

ever catch any of

her children ever

being disrespectful

to any adult.

It would simply be

Blazing fire.

Now if any adult who

was to see anything

arbitrarily taking place

that’s when you will

see the power of

the olden day adults

by doing this

they all helped in

raising the children.

The same way

they would also

be expected to

step in if

some type of

advantage was

taking place.

It’s the very same

with disrespect.

The last thing

youngsters would

want is to see is

the man or woman

they were just

acting disrespectful to

down the street.

Showing up

at the school

whose uniform colors

they were wearing.

You would be toast.

The headmaster

would have his share,

which stays with you

at least for life.

when you get home

pray that it would

only be your mother,

pray that your dad

was at least not

at home.

You do not want you

Father to ever have

to flog you

because that’s when

Man to man is truly

In our minds it was

established early

that God don’t like

so with any great

must ask himself

who God really is?

I grew up to know

that God exist ,

not from my parents

of the fire we

received ,

There comes a time

when you will hear

that certain call.

To choose yee this

day whom yee will

Any man who has

asked himself

the question of

who God really is?

You have also

in him the reason

why I am always!

Looking again to my youth!

Thanks you Eddy , and with that smile you etched on my face I will now take this one and get it ready to be shipped , they all go first to my mother.

It's something that I see while growing up , and it hooked onto me , and I love it so much, that I won't let it go . It's an undying respect for myself, and in looking at myself , I think of God and my mother, but I see the greatness in both. I will be a fool not to give forever thanks to those who handed me water when I was dying of thirst.

Thanks as always Eddy . It's super important to see the Love before letting an evil though penetrate your mind.

I don't understand all about Heaven, , but I understand a lot about me , and if I have to make a choice between good and evil , evil won't stand a chance.

Have yourself a wonderful day Eddy and I sincerely thank you for all!

I really enjoyed this one Sky;as always so powerful and to the point;you always get you message cross.

Yesteryear there were principles;children were taught respect;people looked out for one another.

      Your words;

      You would be toast.

      The headmaster

      would have his share,

      which stays with you

      at least for life.

Oh yes values somehow have lost their way a little in this modern world.

Thank you once more Sky and I think that this one is amongst your best.

Therefore an up up and away without a doubt.

Take care and have a great day.

Thanks again katrine , and I too am glad that you were because it takes a lot to be able to break away from the norm and feel the confidence necessary to truly connect with that Higher Source . Kids don't easily forget those meaningful things they experienced through life.

Our minds are like gel it holds on .

Thanks a gain katrine, it's quite a pleasure . Stay strong in thought , you are onto something great.

I think it's great when children are brought up with faith and belief in a Higher Source. That way they gain more respect in people around them. I remember it was the same in my family. Every Sunday a visit to the Church was on top of the list, and because we believed there was 'somebody' up there watching us, we in fact had something very strong fixed within us that led us to be very good respectful kids, fearing of doing anything bad or wrong, knowing God would no longer love us then. Looking back I think it was good. Now of course my journey of exploration is deeper, but because I was exposed to faith and belief so early in life I find it easier to grasp.
