Will thou fight against God?

Updated on March 16, 2011

It as been said, that un-regenerated man is sleeping within God’s domain.

It will take the Holy Ghost to spark an ignition in the live of man for him to live as a son of God.

The way God chooses to start the fire burning in man is infinite.

He promises that all his sons could appropriate the Holy Ghost with fire. Fire will change the state of a thing and fire will change the spiritual condition of a man.

So will you fight against God?

If your answer is yes, either intentionally or unintentionally, then you haven’t been through the fire of God.

We will look at one such man whose name was Saul until the fire came and lit his life and as a result his name was changed to Paul.

Ones name is changed when the fire of God begin to take dominion over ones spirit.

It says in the book of Acts 7:58,

And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.

There are many of us that are consenting to ideas, relationships and governing laws without ever knowing that we have consented to them and furthermore, that they seemingly irreparable crawlers of control.

And then we have discriminative judgment.

This is where your opinions, experiences and certain facts come into play to make a premeditative call.

This call is where you had time,

a)     to think about the issue

b)    weight the issue and

c)     decide to give the issue a profile

In the KJV we see that Saul, a Benjamite, soon to be named Paul. He was standing in such place call Consent.

He consented unto the death of Stephen (Acts 7:58).

They laid their clothes at his feet as they stoned Stephen until he was dead.

It was Saul who consented to the actions of the mob as they stoned Stephen.

Stephen was stoned because of whom he chose to worship and adore.

 The satanic kingdom had used unscrupulous men like Saul and the high priest to manipulate and control the public’s loyalty to the kingdom of God and so Stephen was stoned because of the one in whom;

  • He believed
  • Who reconciled him unto himself
  • Who sanctified him- Romans15:6 sanctified by the Holy Ghost, 1Cor.1:2, 6:11, hagiazo, Heb.10:29,
  • Who cleansed him Heb.9:14 cleanse your conscience from evil. Ep.5:26, 1Jn.1:9, 1Cor 7:1, 1Cor.7:14, 1Tim.4:5 – word of God and prayer,
  •  With whom he identified; Stephen identified with God and God is good.

These are the days when a man is calling evil good and good evil.

They say that what is right is wrong, and that what is wrong is right; that black is white and white is black; bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter (Isaiah 5:20).

How distressingly pitiful are they which are right in their own eyes?   Little do they know that when they use themselves as a barometer, that they will not be able to exceed their own status.

The world system or the opposition would like to influence you into releasing your Godly belief system and absorbing that which they have prepared for the children of God so that they may be given to reproach.

The world’s belief system is not in compliance with God, neither do they know God because God is a Spirit. Romans 1:21-27.

But when your good is being spoken of as evil then the world sees you as a reproach.

But 1Pet 4:14 said, If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

In other words, you are only being antagonized because of the glory of God that resonates in your countenance.

Run from Adversity

But what is happening is that many of us are turning coat;

  • we cannot take the peer pressure
  • the constant attacks
  • the reproaches
