Won't It Be An Awful Moment

Updated on May 9, 2012

Won't It Be An Awful Moment ?

Wouldn't it be such a terrible moment

When without even a fond goodbye

You stood and watched your loved ones.

They were meeting Jesus in the sky.

What would you think in the moment

When you knew your hope was gone?

Would you think of those many times

He gently whispered to you to atone?

Would you recall vows you had broken,

Every good deed you had left undone?

Would you then think of all the sorrow

When you grieved God's Beloved Son?

You'd think of chances you had shunned

And you would know your dreadful fate.

You would cry and beg God's forgiveness

You'd cry but it would be forever too late .

You would think of those who had risen

But you would not have them back again.

They will be so happy up there with Jesus,

They'll not share your world of Hell or pain.

Wouldn't it be such an awful sad moment

When you knew this age was finally o'er ?

Then your loved ones will be gone forever,

And your home would be Hell forevermore?

There would be no reason for you to sorrow

If you would just surrender to The Lord today.

Then on that great day that He does appear

He would take you all home with Him to stay !

That day that Jesus returns will be a great

day for the Ctristians but it will be a horrible

time for those left here on earth. It will be

what the world has never truly known ,all of

the wicked will be left here to rule for a few

years .Better go to Jesus now and repent!

clara, I just think of my friends and family who do not know the Lord, and it does sadden me. We all have a choice to make, and why not for eternal life with our sweet Jesus!!! Thanks for writing another wonderful hub. Every eye will see, and every knee will bow. In His Love, Faith Reaper

Hi Ann, Every day we are a day closer to that time when He will return, but you would never know it by the way that some people are living, They seem to have no fear of God anymore. What an awakening they will have one of these days.Who would have imagined that we would ever have the kind of laws we have now .Judgment is coming to the unwise lawmakers that we have, Clara

It is a sobering thought. We have to live each day as if it we were prepared fo His return.
