YHVH is Always Faithful
That Red Magic Merlin (electronic handheld game)
When I was a young child, I could, usually, approach my parents and ask for things- mostly things I needed but also for things I wanted. I remember one year, at Christmas time*, I wanted a handheld electronic Merlin game. My dad was in the Army, but our family really didn’t have a lot of disposable cash. There were years that we had plenty, and there were years that we had not much at all. During this particular Christmas season, when my mother asked me and my siblings for our Christmas lists, the only thing I put on it was the Merlin game. I really, really, really, really, really, really wanted a Merlin game. To be honest, I got more that year that just the Merlin; but, I got the Merlin! That was the important thing for me for that year! And, it was so great! I could play all kinds of games on it- Tic Tac Toe, Music Machine, Echo (sort of like Simon), Blackjack 13, Magic Square, et. al. It was absolutely great! And, why did I get this toy? Because I asked for it.
We have One Who we can ask help from.
We have a heavenly Abba that, when we find ourselves in a bit of a sticky wicket (i.e.-we are faced with a temptation), all we have to do is ask for His help. Isn’t that great!? We just have to approach the throne of grace boldly and with confidence (Hebrews 4:16) and ask Abba for His help (Matthew 7:7-8). He is a good, good Abba, and He will help us. He won’t give us snakes that bite us (Matthew 7:9), He won't’ give us stones (Matthew 7:10), and He won’t allow the enemy lion to devour us (1 Peter 5:8). He loves us (1 John 4:8) and He takes care of us (Philippians 4:19). We merely need to ask for His help.
Psalms 34:17 says, “Take delight in Adonai, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
Hebrews 10:24-25--”And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Leviticus 26:8--“Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.”
James 4:8--”Come near to YHVH and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded,”
John 8:32--“ ‘Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’ “
1 Corinthians 10:13--”No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And HaShem is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
James 4:7--“Submit yourselves, then, to Elohim. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Blessed are You O Lord our God, King of the universe,
Who gave to us the Way of salvation
Through the Messiah Jesus.
Blessed be He.
*I no longer celebrate Christmas, though my family does acknowledge the birth of Yeshua. We celebrate Yeshua every day.
