Yehowshuwa, the True Hebrew Name of the Messiah, the Son of the Almighty God.

We have studied the Scriptures independently for over 20 years, including the writings in the original languages of Hebrew and Greek.

Yehowshuwa written in Hebrew

Yehowshuwa the Messiah

Yehowshuwa is the true Hebrew name, of the son of the Almighty Yehowah. They have tried to hide this fact by changing his real name Yehowshuwa, to first, the Greek name Iesous, and then to the Latin name Iesus, and finally to the modern name Jesus.

Here are more details about this ever important issue. Everyone especially English speaking societies believe that the name of the Messiah is Jesus Christ. Unfortunately this is false, the true name is Yehowshuwa also written as Yehowshua in the Hebrew scripts, when the Old Testament was translated into Greek they changed the name Yehowshuwa to ιησουν, Iesoun or Iησουϛ, Iesous, when Jerome translated the Old testament into Latin, the name Yehowshuwa was translated to Iosue, and in the King James it is translated to Joshua in English.

Now when we get to the New Testament the name Yehowshuwa is translated as ιησου Iesou in the Greek Texus Receptus, in the Latin Vulgate it is Iesu, and the King James it is Jesus.

So as you see there has been incorrect translations from the original Hebrew Language, in all of three languages Greek, Latin and English. There are numerous explanations as to how they ended up with the name Jesus, one claim is that by the 5th century BC, the name Yehowshuwa got shortened to Yeshuwa and the from there to the Greek Iesous. Others claim that there is no way to write Yehowshuwa in Greek, but that is also false.

The bible tells us that there is no changes to the law, not one jot or tittle is to be changed. What that means is that not one of the smallest letters or smallest marks is to be changed from the law. Yowd is the smallest Hebrew letter, and that is the very letter that got changed, first to and I or Iota in Greek and Latin and then to a J in German and English. One point I'd like to make, is that there was no J's in any language til 1500's from Germany.

They have changed the Messiah's name in order to hide and change his Father's name. His father's name YEHOWAH (YHWH), which is written in the Old Testament over 6000 times. His name has now been replaced with the word LORD. When the Hebrew script was translated to Greek, they at first retained the Hebrew letters YHWH in their Greek script, but then later versions replaced the Hebrew letters to the Greek word Kurios, which means lord in English. Then later on, the Talmud (which is Mysticism) banned a person from saying YEHOWAH. Later translations use the name Jehovah, and Yahweh, both incorrect transliterations.

Yehowshuwa said that he came in his Fathers name, and that he came to do his Father's will, to gather all that have learned of the Father, that is, he came to call all that love his Father to believe on his Son,Yehowshuwa that they may have everlasting life.

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (Jesus, came in Zeus's name, and under a false title 'the Christ' and him they all receive.)

John 6 :37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing , but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. ...
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard , and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Greek Transliteration

Yehowshaphat (Jehoshaphat)
ιωσαφατ (Iota, Omega, Sigma, Alpha. Phi, Alpha, Tau)
in Septuagint.

Yehowseph (Jehoseph, Joseph)
ιωσηφ (Iota, Omega, Sigma, Eta, Phi)
in Septuagint.

Yehowshabath (Jehoshabeath)

in Septuagint.

Yehowshuwa (Jehoshua, Joshua)
ιωσυα (Iota, Omega, Sigma, Upsilon, Alpha)
not in Septuagint.

The above Greek rendering would be the most accurate using the same method as the other names are translated in the Septuagint.

The Septuagint falsely transliterates Yehowshuwa to
ιησουν Iesoun (Iota, Eta, sigma, omicron, upsilon, Nu)
see Numbers 13:16 (Jehoshua) and (Joshua)

It is also inaccurately transliterated as Iησουϛ

I Come in My Father's Name

He came in his Father's name, and his Father's name is Yehowah. #3068.
(The son's name Yehowshuwa, meaning Yehowah's, shuwa #7769 = a cry,
From #7768= to be free. (So his name means "Yehowah's loud cry to freedom".)

Psalms 111:10 The fear of Yehowah the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do : his praise endureth for ever.

Psalms 112:1 Praise ye Yehowah. Blessed the man feareth Yehowah, delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Psalms 111:7 The works of his hands verity and judgment; all his commandments sure.
111: 8 They stand fast for ever and ever, done in truth and uprightness.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore Yehowah himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Strongs's Immanuel (Hebrew #6005 =God with us)

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Strong's Emmanuel (Greek #1694 God with us.) This means the Almighty is with us, it does not mean that Yehowshuwa is the Almighty. He was sent by the Almighty Yehowah, to bring us all back to our Father.

The name Jesus does not mean any of this. So why have they changed the name? It is to misslead the people, and have them worship a false god.

Mark 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

The Messiah Yehowshuwa answered:

Mark 12:30 And Yehowshuwa answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear , O Israel; YEHOWAH our God is one YEHOWAH: 30 And thou shalt love YEHOWAH thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this , Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: 33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

The first commandment is a direct quote from, Deuteronomy 6:4

Hear, O Israel: Yehowah our God one Yehowah: 5 And thou shalt love Yehowah thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
This makes it clear that Yehowshuwa used his Father Yehowah's name.

(Emmanuel, or Immanuel, means that the Almighty is with us, and not that Yehowshuwa is the Almighty. Yehowshuwa clearly states that we are to worship his Father Yehowah and him only.)

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
4:10 Then saith Yehowshuwa unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written,Thou shalt worship Yehowah thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

This last verse,Matthew 4:10, clearly states that there is only one Almighty Yehowah, and the his Son Yehowshuwa the Messiah, came to announce that we are to worship Yehowah his father, and him only.

This also show that the Devil is control of all the kingdoms here on earth.

There is no trinity, it is an aspect of the Catholic Church, which has continued it from Constantine, which of course, is a continuation of Sun worship. Constantine was the High Priest in sun worship "Sol Invictus". In sun worship, there is always a Trinity.

With the Trinity being in Christian Dogma, the Christian religion is Sun worship, carried on from the days of old, From Babal, The trinity, back then was Nimrod.Tammuz and Semiramis.

Ezekiel 8:14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Yehowah's house which toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

Tammuz was the 'Christos' back then.

Yehowshuwa was the awaited Messiah, not the Christ. 'The Christ' was another Greek application to make people worship another God.

John 1:41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. In the Latin Vulgate, it states, John 1:41 invenit hic primum fratrem suum Simonem et dicit ei invenimus Messiam quod est interpretatum Christus

John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. In the Latin Vulgate it states, John 4: 25 dicit ei mulier scio quia Messias venit qui dicitur Christus cum ergo venerit ille nobis adnuntiabit omnia

By these two verses, the authors/translators, have taken the liberty to tell the readers that they are going to call him Christ instead of the Messias whom they were waiting for.

The biggest problem with all this, is that when people join a Christian church, they have to get baptized, and take a vow to Jesus Christ, they have to accept him as their personal savior.

Jesus Christ is an incorrect name, it can, and does literally mean Satan. I know most people do not realize that. But take head to this verse.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Yehowshuwa or Jesus

The Truth Will Set You Free

There may be many people who are reading this article, who did not know that the true Hebrew name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa, or that the true name of his and our Father is Yehowah. The bible states that in time of ignorance God winks at, but all people have been influenced by education, organized religion and different forms of Media. This things have had a large impact on how we think, and how and what to believe.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at ; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.

In the above verse we are commanded to repent, because when one stumbles on the truth, we realize that we have been presented false information to believe a lie, so we are told to repent.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 ... them that perish ; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved . And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

If we ignore the truth it states that we will be sent strong delusion and be damned and perish. These are strong words that one cannot ignore if we believe in our Father Yehowah.

Exodus 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying , I am YEHOWAH thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I YEHOWAH thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Yehowah brought the Hebrew people out of Egypt, out of bondage. We are to have no other Gods before Yehowah, this is what the Messiah Yehowshuwa came to tell us, he declared his Father's name, and those who hear will believe because he came in his Father's name.

John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were , and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.

John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

To accept any organized religion that does not worship Yehowah, is to put yourself in bondage like the Hebrews were in Egypt.

The Cross

Another deception brought on by the Roman Church is the word "cross" In the Greek script, of the New Testament which the Vulgate and the king James bible translated from, the original word was stauros, meaning post or pole. When the Vulgate was written in Latin they changed the Greek word 'stauros' to the Latin word 'cruce', which in turn, the King James translated it to the word 'cross'. It is an incorrect translation. And when they said 'crucify him',the correct translation would be, 'impale him'. They impaled him on the stake. Form more information on this please read Sun worship in Christianity and also False Doctrines like the Trinity and Chi-Rho used in Christianity

The term ehyeh ašer ehyeh is used to describe the Almighty. This is not his name. We are given his name in the next verse as Yehowah (translated as LORD in most bibles) this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. Exodus 3:14-15

The Sabbath is the 7th day. The fourth commandment tells us that we are to keep the 7th day sabbath. Sunday is the 1st day of the week and is not the weekly Sabbath.

Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day the sabbath of Yehowah thy God: thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that within thy gates: 11 For six days Yehowah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them , and rested the seventh day: wherefore Yehowah blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exodus 31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh the sabbath of rest, holy to Yehowah: whosoever doeth work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, a perpetual covenant. 17 It a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for six days Yehowah made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

As for the different calendars, the sequence of 7 days of the week were never changed. And the lunar calendar were used to mark the different feast days.

      The name was mistyped.

What's your take on Sabbath? Gregorian? or lunar solar? And when? Not Saturday....right?

Yes for some it is hard to break the habit of saying Amen. The scriptures states that we are to pray in secret. Matthew 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

And also your use of the name Yahuwah is incorrect, it is written as Yehowah in the Hebrew scripts never has Yahuwah. As mentioned before, Yah is the name of the Egyptian Moon God.

      Ah, ok.

Yes, I did not even catch that one. I do not use the word Amen any more...it was a hard habit to break. It is so propagated and everyone says it...so I choose not to pray in front of others anymore. That is probably wrong but I don't yet know how to tell them not to say amen after I pray.

Also, after I sent my last message, I did notice he is still believes in a trinity. He won't explain that it is Yahuwah's spirit which is holy.

      Thank you for your explanation.

This person has been in contact with us before. My problem with his Exalted Name Bible is that he uses the word Amen which is a Pagan name of an Egyptian God.

He also omits the Waw's from the name Yehowshuwa. Strong's Concordance shows it as Yehowshua or Yehowshuwa ( יְהוֹשׁ֣וּעַ).

If you search the Hebrew Scripture it is always written with at least one waw, and because of all the tampering with the true names of Yehowah and Yehowshuwa, we feel that at least the first waw has to be there for sure.

They are omitting the Waw's in most names because in modern day Israel, the Waw is now pronounced as a V, but this was not so in Biblical Hebrew times.

Here is the name written in Hebrew that we use from the Biblia Hebraica Deuteronomy 3:21

Also found in Judges 2:7 in the Biblia Hebraica.

      Hope this clarifies the matter.

Just curious, I found this link you mean might be interested in. He uses the second spelling in strongs concordance "Yehoshua".

I do not agree with your presumption of the sound of Yah, because that is the name of an Egyptian Moon God. Yah literally means moon. The true name of the Messiah is Yehowshuwa.

      Mary 2 years ago

His name is a sound more then a spelling . Letters are different across languages and the meaning and then the sound are the upmost importance . Linguists don't understand what is spiritual. The truth comes through revelation (Gods Spirit) not education ( man using his own judgment )

Also , unless one knows the true meaning of the name Je-Zeus , one can't possibility know the gravity of the whole matter .

The whole world lies in darkness because of the Christian name Jesus -

IAm Zeus. The messiahs name sounds much like this - Yah oshua- and means IAm Salvation.

First it is not a vau, it is a waw. The name Yehowshuwa, may be written either Yehowshua, or Yehowshuwa. I prefer the latter, because I believe it it is the most accurate.

      Dale 7 years ago

Why do you add the second vau in His name? This is the one between the shin and the ain.
