You Can't Outsmart God

Updated on October 5, 2011

You Can't Outsmart God

We look and can see it everywhere

As through this world we now plod.

A mere man in his minute intellect

Is always trying to outsmart God..

To the Eye of our Great Creator

We must look as just a grain of sand.

But man is the source of discontent

That is now spreading o'er the land.

Are you one of the many who sees

All of the trials we're going through?

Do you think you have God's Wisdom

And you're able to tell us what to do?

We don't dare listen to the worldly man

For his own life may be one of great sin .

That's what started this slipping nation

That's how we reached the shape we're in.

As a Father God will have to chasten,

Someday all evilness will have to go .

Then a new world will replace this one

In God's written Word He tells us so.

Small man will still stumble on and on,

He's always devising another evil plan.

He will still be trying to outsmart God,

God just laughs at such a foolish man !

Today the world is full of men who are

trying to solve this world's problem

but no man can  it without the help of

God. One man didn't bring all of the

world's sorrows to us and one man

will not make things better for us ,we

know one man will try to rule the world

but only for a short time .It will be such

a time as this world has never known.

we must be prepared to leave this

earth before that time comes .Woe to

the ones who are left behind. The Bible

says man will cry for the rocks and

mountains to fall on them but there

will be no hiding place,What  a terrible

place this will be then.

Yes its like any writer when an idea comes to you, you take it, there obviously is a reason for it.

When God gives a message, definitely go for it. Thats what I do, try to decipher his sometimes confusing me messages. Its not God its me, I get like that sometimes. He usually always finds a way to confirm.

Sorry for going way back however I am just starting to read a lot of these hubs and actually discover them.

Good luck on your ventures with God

Hello Laurie,You have been going pretty far back on my hubs here.I used to write a lot about me but God is giving me things for other people , If you have gone back you see the hub I wrote about God waking me in the middle of the night with an idea, and if I didn't get up and write it then by morning I had lost it completely so now I get up and start writing ,If God gives it to me I don't want to lose it. He woke me up around 6 this morning , I thought I would just write the idea down and write it today , but things kept coming to me till I finally have ,I think verses , I plan on trying to get it on sometime tonight. Thanks for reading the poems. Wow ,that is all I have to say, some are messages to me as well.

God gives me things to write also, however right now he does things differently with me as he does with all of us.

Right now they are just for me.

I can tell that God says these words to you, I can feel God and he led me here for a reason as he always does

      Thank you
