You Know That's God!

Updated on March 8, 2013

You Know That's God !

Have you ever searched for a missing item

As through your home you so slowly trod.

Then in an instant a thought will come to you

Then you walk right over to it, That's God !

And have you ever started to prepare a meal,

Then remember you used your very last can

Of an important ingredient and then you pray.

You find one and you know that's God, not man!

Have you ever been so busy ,no time to spare

And a name will suddenly come into your heart.

Then will you just stop all that you have to do ?

In all things, in all ways, let The Lord be a part.

After all that Our God has always done for us

Don't you feel you must take the time to pray?

Have we always taken the time just to thank Him

Not just once in a while but each and every day?

Have you ever thought of the thank you's you say

When you're on the phone or someone at the door,

You always try to be courteous to all that you meet

But don't you feel Our Lord deserves so much more?

Do you tell everyone you know how truly good He is,

And do you thank and praise Him all that you can?

When He does something very special just for us

Are we sure to tell everyone that's God ,not man ?

I am sure that He likes to hear a prayer of gratitude,

A prayer not just when we feel we have a great need.

I am sure like a Father He likes to see a happy face

And I'm sure He loves us when we pray and plead.

In all that you can in every day and in every way.

If you're sad tell Him so, if you're happy tell Him ,too.

But best of all , in all your life be His Child forever.

Only your loving heart is all that He wants from you .

Clara Kish

Start 2-13-13

Finish 3-7-13

At times there are things that happen in

our lives there is no way to explain it than

to just say ,"That's God",but I know in my

daily life that God is the only way to

explain it .but in this day and age it is hard

to get people to believe that God is able

to do anything. When you give your heart

to Him it is easy to believe in Him but to

get them there is not easy I guess we

just have to spend more time in prayer.

it seems like prayer to the Lord is the

answer to life's problems !

If God is angry with us now He has plenty of reason after all that this nation has done to His laws and to the country that He gave us , I am sure other countries have done many evil things too , but this is what we know about ,the things we have seen destroyed all over this land.Thank you Laurie

Before judgment day also, he is angry with the wicked everyday

Yes.Laurie ,there are a lot of false prophets around and they are not in the ministry to gain souls but to line their pockets . Their love is not for God but for money and they try every way they can to deceive man into believing their message and to open your purse for them. What will God say to them on Judgement Day? Depart from you ,I never knew you! Good Night ,Laurie

Hello Laurie, Thank you for your comment, always good to hear from you. God's promises are in the Bible and He will never forget them , we may often forget things but God doesn't,probably there are times when many of us wish He would forget . If we are forgiven God doesn't remember them any more but we don't forget as easy God does ! Clara

I so agree with you for sure.

God never changes, and never does he go back on his word. His word is the only word you can pretty much count on written in stone and that is literally.

Great to meet your acquaintance also.

      have a good night

So many times when something happens there is nothing that you can say but that's God . In these latter years I have learned to depend on Him for so many things .That old hymn , "He Never Has Failed Me Yet",just about tells it all .I was talking to my preacher and he said God is never early and he is never late, he is always just on time ,and I have found out that is true.Well,Laurie , I am glad I met you , I thank you and I feel we could be great friends ,L0ve, Clara

wow I love it, I have no other way to describe your poem, but with love and kindness and God.

I understand what you mean when you say no other way to say it but that is God.

God is in control of every single thing in our lives. He has ultimate power that is unimaginable. He will use them when he has too.

The things God can do is beyond what any of us believe. Any gift given to us is through God. I can't understand for the life of me why anyone would take a precious gift and misuse it.

However God sees our hearts and he knows everything. Sometimes before I even think anything, he will lead me to a page where I realize later that day that hey I was just about to ask that, and then go back to the answer.

its hard for me to explain but I think you know what I mean.

We cannot think/do/say any thing without God knowing our hearts.

It is wonderful thing to me and quite amazing how the son of man and Our Holy Spirit are so great in power, that some dont even realize with one finger God can tear our city down.

I always ask God for answers to my questions and he usually leads me there.

God is always right so he is always justified for his actions. We have no right to question him

Thank you for sharing this great poem about God

Hello Blossom , Good to hear from you , Yes ,He does and I think He answers children's prayers quicker sometimes.I think they have no doubt that He will answer them, sometimes it takes a lot of faith to get to that point and it seems like children are so much more sure their prayers will be answered than we are sometimes,I have had many praters answered big ones and small ones , God will answer all of them, Love, Clara

When I was a child I used to panic when I'd lost something, but then I found that God really does answer even the most unimportant prayers. He really cares.

Hello Karen. I love that old song, "He Never Has Failed Me Yet", I have failed Him many times but He hasn't failed me , in these last years I hope I never will fail Him again, never on purpose will I do something that is displeasing to Him , I have come too far to ever turn back. Thanks for your comment. Love ,Clara

Clara, a prayer of gratitude is always appropriate. There's no end to the many reasons around us that prompts us to say, "That's God!" Thank you so much for the reminder!

I love your poems. I love that you can take thoughts from my head and make them into pretty sentences :) Every day this week I have been on the verge of happy tears as I have been shown over and over that I can never outgive God. He is SO good. I know that's God!
