Your Love Lifts Me High

Updated on February 15, 2010

Your love lifts me high Lord

So high I feel like I can fly.

Your love lifts me high Lord

So High I must abide by

your love that sustains me.

Everyday your love lifts me way above

the storms of life.

Your love lifts me high Lord

Above all things my beloved,

your love is part of my soul,

so wonderful I won't let go.

Your love is free

oh how your love lifts.

So high I can sing of it forever,

forever in my heart.

With you all things

are made new with your love so true

in my heart you stay

No matter what comes my way Lord,

Your love lifts me high.

No matter how bad things appear down here, I consider this scripture: "For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds." Hebrews 12:3. What is this scripture telling us? Consider what Jesus endured for us before concerning ourselves with our own persecutions and faith-testing ordeals.

This is a very inspirational poem from the heart and says it all so very well!!!
