Your Place My Place or Somewhere in Between

Updated on November 11, 2011

Your Place My Place Or Somewhere In Between

Your Place, My  place, or Somewhere In Between

That matters not to me for I don't really care .

I just know that I am now truly Your loving child,

Dear Lord ,on any day I will gladly meet You here.

This old world is not the one that You created,

It would now be hard to recognize it from Above

You planned a perfect dwelling place on earth,

And gladly You gave it all to us with Your Love.

Man was not content with such a precious gift

So they started to change it at the very start.

You knew from the beginning it would happen

Yet it surely must have broken Your heart.

You had given man Your Just Laws to follow,

The perfect rules not what we have  today.

They tossed Your Laws and made their own ,

Now they are learning they finally have to pay.

Oh, foolish man ,the day and hour are coming.

When before the True Judge what will you say?

Too late now you know that  you are condemned.

And you know it's too late now to even try to pray!

It is kind of hard to believe that the creation

thinks he knows more than the Creator.I guess

they think that we just evolved on our own with

no  master plan, one day we were just a blob

and we grew in to a living moving  human

being with no help  at all , man doesn't believe

in God but they do  believe in this falsehood.

When they stand before God on Judgment day

they will finally know the truth but it will be too

late to  pray then!

Hello NiaG,It does seem like something happens everyday now that is unheard of in former years ,and no matter who you talk to people are having all sorts of trouble, you just wonder how much longer it will go on,it just seems to feel like Jesus will be coming soon. All we can do is pray and keep working for The Lord as best as we can.I still need help on the Hub. I will talk to you later about that . Thanks for commenting. clara

Thank you,Lone Star, I really enjoy your comments.God gives the poems to me and I hope that it will reach people' hearts .Sometimes I think maybe they won't go over very well but I have been surprised by the amount of how many people are reading them. I have written poems for many years but I feel now that I have to get them out to share with others, Time is growing short , clara

I feel like I've been to Sunday Schoool, Clara. You should teach.

Not until we align our thoughts and actions with the highest part of ourselves (God) can life be rich and full.

Things seem to get worse everyday or is it just so hard to see the positive? Love this!

      Beautiful words, @Clara.

Certainly, man has let pride and arrogance overcome him.

But even the most insignificant of us need to be mindful of our potential for arrogance. Even after more than 60 years striving for spiritual awakening, I too often find ego getting in the way.

Most Christians I've met think they've already made it, but their actions and words too frequently speak of arrogance -- that they already know it all. Humility requires us to know that we do not yet have an interpretation of scripture equal to that of God. No denomination has it figured out. We must continue to search and to listen to the quiet, still voice within -- the voice of our master. There is so much more to learn.

May the heavenly Father bless us all with humility, faith and wisdom.

This is more than a poem but a message. Although many people are ignoring the truth up to an extent of atheism, God is watching and a day for judgment is already reserved for everyone. Thanks for sharing.
