Go to the great conquer

The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.” Psalm 9:9 New Living Translation

You want to become strong? Here’s formula guaranteed to work every time. We all experience times of overwhelming hardship, troubles, sorrow and worry don’t we. Events that are out our hands or too big to handle right? So what are you gonna do? Well why not go where there is unlimited power, comfort, wisdom and security? There is only one place you can find that amigo, and that is in Jesus.

The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalms 9:9-10

When we are weak and call out to our mighty King, He will come to our rescue.

Now some times He will not rescue us because we have sinned and must suffer the consequences of it, but even there He will still be with you.

Good timber does not grow with ease. The stronger the wind the stronger the trees. Williard Marriott

Some times He will allow us to go through difficult trials to help us grow stronger. That is a fact, it happens to every Christian. The fantastic news is that when you come out of the trial you will be much stronger. It has happened to me as it has for every Christian, so do not be afraid when it happens or believe satans lies that God has forsaken you. You know one time a woman confessed to me that Jesus was far from her, my reply was:

Jesus is not far from you, you are far from Jesus. He will only be as close as you want Him to be. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Restlessness and impatience change nothing except our peace and joy. Peace does not dwell in outward things, but in the heart prepared to wait trustfully and quietly on Him who has all things safely in His hands. Elisabeth Elliot

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shammah; The Lord is present; for being there with me when I walked through the burning fires of hell. I know it was necessary to burn off the dredge that was keeping us separated. Thank you my beloved that whenever that time comes for me to take that walk again, and we all must take those walks from time to time, I know You are right there with me. In the name of Him who walked that walk Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day

Very inspirational and so encouraging to those of us who need to hear how our suffering will prove to build our faith. Yes, our trials will make us stronger, if we only hold onto this faith. Thanks for sharing.
