Welcome to Spirit's blog. The place where we find the beauty in the hidden, occult, mythologies of our world. Blessed be.

Hi all and welcome to Spirit's blog. I am excited to use my new deck for my Tuesday guidance. The deck I am using today is: "The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck by Kim Kranns. It is a great deck to find information, while straying away from the traditional decks. This deck has 63 cards, all of animals, neatly organized into the 5 elements, earth, air, water, fire and ether (soul). It also has strong connections to the 7 chakras, each one giving advice on a chakra imbalance and how to balance it. Today's card is the Zebra card. The Zebra card is part of the group of animals associated with the element of fire. The fire element leads us in the right direction in life. It also shows us our ego and what challenge must be overcome to attain our best spiritual goals. Fire cards tell us our full potential and when to act upon things.

As with all other tarot decks I still find lots of information in the colors of the card. This card is made up of mostly black and white, but there is also yellow, pink and green. White is the color associated with the moon. The moon rules casts a light on what is hidden and purity. Black is the color of Saturn. Saturn rules over your restriction, endings, time, sacrifice and karma. Yellow is associated with the sun. The sun rules over our happiness, joys, and successes. Pink in this reading we will view it as red, red is associated with Mars (the God of War). Mars rules over our willpower, action, danger, masculine energy.

The Zebra card characterizes best those who are: eccentric, wise and imaginative. It also tells of those who are youthful at heart, have healthy curiosity and are good at inspiring others.

In conclusion the Zebra card is telling us to take action, avoid danger, and dare to dream. It tells us that we can manifest anything as long as we open our heart and minds to it. When your inner Zebra is out of balance you become jaded, pouty and vain. When in balance you can become worldly, enthusiastic, fashion-forward. To balance your inner Zebra spirit: make some art, or partake in a grand adventure. Blessed be.
