Atheist, there are Supernatural occurrences Beyond common events that take place in this world?...
...how do you explain that in your common and scientific philosophy, other than another source of power....a higher power to be exact.
Example:The Box Jelly-fish and others, don't have a brain nor a heart....yet they have Intelligence. You may not believe it, but you can see it.
Just because something appears to be supernatural or impossible, (this universe is MASSIVE and we are incapable of knowing what is out there) - supernatural phenomenons do not necessarily indicate the workings of a higher power.
ummm i have yet to see a jellyfish solve mathmaticle equasions. Are you saying that a jellyfish being intelligent means there must be supernatural forces at work? How about how closly our dna resembles a primates dna? I guess thats just coincidance right? get outta here.
Reactions to sensory stimuli is not intelligence. Well, maybe to your intellect it is.
what supernatual occurences? bud, your questions don't even make sense. this is the 3rd or 4th one i've answered just because i find them amusing. are you a born-again perhaps?

Further, do you lack belief in anything paranormal? Do you consider the supernatural and the paranormal to be essentially the same thing?

I was about to reply to rickylidea's forum "How Did You Become an Atheist?" when it dawned on me that I might not qualify as a bona fide atheist. Some of you may remember from my previous hubs that I hesitate to apply a label to what I do and do not believe. Still, there...
