   Let me answer this way, make of it what  you will.
   
   When I was about 12 or 13, I had a neighbor girl my very age whom I had a horrible crush on. I wanted to see her in the worst way one Saturday afternoon, but I  lacked the confidence to go to her house and knock  on the door.
   
   While sitting on the floor, I placed my fingers on my temples and concentrated very hard. I imagined the desires of my heart traveling through the air  and communicating to her.
   
   In that communication I asked that she come to my house, knock  and the back door and ask  me to come out and go ride bikes with her.
   
   15 minutes later she did this very thing. It was so real to the very vision in my mind that I became scared. I had dabbled into something I knew nothing about and possibly something evil.
   
   I vowed to never do it again and I never have.
   
   (Until now I am sending HattieMattieMae a message to see if she wants to go ride bikes... come to the back door!  I am also sending a message to all hubbers to read and respond to ALL my hubs. Is it working yet? LOL just kidding...maybe.)

   Possibly, but not necessarily.  I believe a channel must be opened first to allow thoughts to flow from one to the other.  I am spiritually close to a few people but I have only ever had a telepathic experience with one of them.  I needed to tell him something important and was frightened to utter any words.  We were in a busy meeting but the message transcended all the noise and distraction.  The experience has stayed with me forever and has a very special place in my heart.  I don't expect to have this experience again.

   man had telepathy ability  at one time  and lost it and some tribal people can do that still, but not many. man lose that ability when we start hiding our feeling and scheming. but all have been there when you doing something big or a long walk and then the time pass and you don't know how you do it. at that time you let you spiritual being take over for you flesh and you spirit has no bounds. but very very few people can do this at will. but all have done it in some way at some time in there life. maybe a person who very pure in the spirit will let us know how to do it at will.

   Telepathy is possible when you have attained the next level of spiritual guidance. We also have six-sense that may not be used by many of us. Sometimes we need to ask ourselves when certain decisions we need to make but somehow something is telling otherwise. Like once I had wanted to go somewhere but somehow my feeling was uneasy about it so I decided not to go that day. I heard from the news that there was a serious accident at that place. So, I do believe it is possible for telepathy between two people when they have the connections.

   Telepathy as I think you mean it is between the conscious aspect of two individuals; conscious communication from mind to mind.    It has been proven in numerous experiments, but it is not very reliable, apparently.    I think experiments in this sort of thing were being conducted at Duke University, USA, as far back as 1929.
   
   At the deep subconscious level I believe we're all linked, whether we realize it or not.    We are all part of The All.   Separation is an illusion - probably deliberately undertaken by us for some reason unbeknown to me.    The latest theories are that the whole universe (and all the unknown universes) are all part of one giant Whole.      But then again, that could change as new scientific theories become popular.   How dull it would all be if we 'knew it all.'

   I'm not sure about the spiritually close part but it's possible. What the circumstances are, I'm not sure but I have experienced it myself. I think it's very common too for mothers to have this with their children.

    i'm guessing your joking. spirituality is a farce so how could two people become telepathic from it. telepathy is the human mind using strengths that few people are even aware they have. it has absolutely nothing to do with some god or any other such thing. the need by some to glorify religion is rather disconcerning due to the fact that it seems like any human accomplishments are given over to something done by a god. does being an athiest make one more prone to telepathy because they have a more open mind?

    I don't know if it's considered telepathy, I think if you are THAT close to someone, knowing them so well etc, then you can almost predict what they will do, which can make it feel as though you have willed it to happen.
    
    E.g, my boyfriend can predict to the second when I am about to do or say something (and he usually knows what I'll say and say it the same time as I do), and even when we are apart, he can predict my reaction to certain things etc. I wouldn't call him telepathic, I think to be considered telepathic, you'd have to be able to do it with several people, not just one other.

    My best male friend and I have always been very spiritually close. We can lose contact for months on end, live in different states and yet we can still be connected enough to get the overwhelming urge to get in contact again
