Can they who fail to profess their faith expect to be saved while in that state?
the rightous shall live by his faith
Without faith it is impossible to please God
I believe it is what is in your heart and not your mind. I have friends who tell me that they have doubts about their faith, but are absolutely terrified about what God will do.
That tells me that in their heart they do have faith, but the mind has convinced them of something other.
He would not have given His only son if he expected us to not use our minds, ask questions, debate or knew we would live without full righteousness. Many people have become successful because of this, but then we must ask, how and why did this person become successful if our destinies are from The Lord?
He is perfect. He inhabits the favorite personality trait of every person. Including those who play ping pong with their thoughts or we wouldn't have such intelligent, quirky, interesting, crazy, shy, diverse, and amazing humans. And we wouldn't be so interested in what others have to question about the subject.
I truly believe that God reads your heart, the core of your being and all emotion, before he looks at the mind. It is there where love starts, grows, and ends and that is the whole law.
If you love Him in your heart, you are forgiven and that is all that matters. Let your mind be free.
Absolutely yes. By their fruit you shall know them. That is why you need to judge your own selves daily to see if you are in the faith of Jesus Christ. Not everyone who says Lord, Lord, will enter heaven, but those who do the will of GOD. So now you can see that their will be many people surprised to see themselves in heaven hoping that they will get to heaven while alive and living on the earth in their physical human body.
Everyone is a laborer before God and each will receive his wages in his time. Do not all employees in the office receive salary irregardless of work and position? Scientists, Doctors, Engineers, Pastors and even Evolutionists are all laborers before God. Unless you are not convinced that God is in control. But the salvation program God imposes vary from Person to Person. Some by Water. Some by Fire. Depending upon how God wants to use that person in his coming Kingdom. And the experience you gained and the problems you overcame will determine your qualification when that Day comes. Everyone wants to be saved. Be it an easy way or a hard way. Does not God know that basic fact and still let others fall? But does anyone know how to be absolutely saved? But brethren ponder on this: Would you rather waste your time seeking your salvation instead of assuring the salvation of your children?
Nothing is simple. There is a time and place to profess one's faith. Years ago my husband and I were on the way into a restaurant and a man came up to me and asked me if I was saved and knew Jesus. I tried to tell him that yes, i did.
He would not let up, he kept telling me that didn't mean anything and so on. Finally, I was rude and moved away from him. That kind of evangelism, or professing of faith does more damage than good. Had I been a non-believer, he would have scared me off of God's church.
Some of us, the more shy, profess our faith in how we live our lives, and how we relate to others.
And rest assured, according to Scripture, the only unforgivable sin is the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit.
Repent at the right moment can change. I do believe we are all meant to be saved even if you have done bad deed. As long as you are willing to repent, you will be given a second chance.
Of course it will be best if you have faith.
first off, saved from what? secondly, if there was this god you seem to dwell on all the time, he wouldn't care what you professed but rather what you did. remember actions speak louder then words.

When Jesus in John 3:16 says "whoever believes in Him shall not perish," notice that he didn't say "whoever believes ONLY...shall not perish."Since 8 years old, I learn love makes good sense and love concurs all. Fear is simply, it’s just the unknown, Satan is just the unknown....

Satan is a believer....does that make Him saved? So how is it that one can only believe and be saved? If all we have to do is believe and be saved, then Satan will be saved as well.Is it not that we should go beyond believing in order to feel the effects of that belief?Satan believes...but He will no...

How do you know if you are saved?

Do you think the knowledge of the person is saved in his brain or in his spirit?Science claims the brain is the depository of all human knowledge. The scripture recorded "what things soever a man so knoweth save the spirit of man that is in him and of God, the spirit of God".
