I am Alpha and Omega. I know and walk with GOD moment by moment. On August 1, 1982 A.D. a Sunday morning GOD shown me in a vision the other side of death.

For me there's only one God, the creator of the universe.

    God Is God.
I can identify Him as the Father, that Jesus Christ came to tell us all about. He is the ONLY true God. All others are man made deities.
2, He is the "right God" not because he is "my" God. I have come to Him, BECAUSE, He is the right God.There is NONE like Him.
Sorry if that bursts any bubbles. big_smile

About which is the right God. If your God and my God is the same the premise of your question does not exist.

    Who is God?
God is every thing there was, is and will be forever and ever.
There is nothing that is  not God.  In a sense, he is even what he is not. There is nothing else or nobody that can be anything. He is the fabric of everything that in Seen and Unseen. He is here and there and everything in between and beyond. Putting this in Greek, he is the Alpha and the Omega. He has infinite forms, infinite power, all knowing and in everywhere.  Your mind cannot fathom who he is. You will have to go out of your mind to experience him.  That is why theologians or those who carry scriptures in their hands cannot experience God. Spiritual masters like the Buddha, Jesus, John the Baptist and others fled into the wilderness to experience God through their souls. They seem to be out of their minds. You can only reach him through your soul. Look within yourself and he will be there in a profound trinity, Truth, Love and Joy. Any message your get from your universe around you that has the Grandest Truth, Joy and Love is from Him. This grandest trinity is his signature of his message to you. Anything less that the grandest is not from him.

Great question, I can't answer it. Neither can anyone else. Any answer is base on  your indoctrination from birth.

well, my lack of god is perfect for me. I love having the freedom to make my own choices without the pressure of religion or worrying how it will affect me in the afterlife. Not being religious doesn't mean I think I have the right to do bad things all the time, it just means I live for myself and do good things simply because I want to do good things. I kind of wish people would realize that life can be amazing without a god, and how much more fulfilling it is.

God is the Creator of this Universe. He is present in and around everywhere, inside this universe and outside the universe. You cannot see God but you can feel his presence in you if you can close your eyes and concentrate your mind. He is the one who is keeping us alive and will take away our lives when He feels necessary. He is the one to whom we pray and seek help, seek his blessings. He has infinite forms and the magnitude of his power is just unimaginable. He has the Supreme Power and Authority. He is all loving, kind and forgiving. He makes all things happen as per His wishes and command.

There is no difference whatsoever between your God and my God. He is one and only one. We must have respect for all religions and people's beliefs. I am a Hindu by birth but from my deep inside I dearly love and respect other religions on equal level. Whether it is Lord Shiva , Lord Jesus or any other God they mean the same to me.  I don't know whether I am right or wrong whatever I have said but this is the way I feel.

God is the origin of all things. Evil is a distortion of the things he made. He is perfect and infinite, and that is part of why we can't fully understand him. But we can know some things about him. One: he is our creator and he loves us. Not with a grandfatherly or slave-master kind of love, but I mean he flippin' loves us and wants the absolute best for us. But he made us free so that we could freely choose to love him back or not. And you can imagine that if we reject our source (him!), and he lets us (he does, or we wouldn't be free!), we will end up miserable in the end. So that's number one. Two: to us humans, he isn't just our creator and master. He is our Father, and we are supposed to be his children. Don't ask me how we can be children to an infinite, perfect God, but that's what he decided and I guess he can do that sort of thing. smile But...the problem is, remember that free will thing I was talking about? Yeah...well we've kind of screwed up on that one and we decided we'd rather ignore him as Father and love other things like they were our source instead. So...we kind of refused his offer of being his family. That means we're like lost sons and daughters that are screwed up and can't fix ourselves. Kind of like a son that left home and became a drug addict and is starving now. Yeah, that's us.
Three: he is strong. Very strong. And he still loves us. AND he doesn't just want to let us back in as servants...he still wants to be our Father. SO he did something about it, and if we go with his plan we get back in on the deal, only better than before. But it still depends on our freely accepting this plan of his. But he is willing to help us say yes...we call that grace...so all we need to do is beg him for it and mean it. And then try to take advantage of that grace and let him teach us to love him again.

So that's the God I believe in (in short...there's a lot more to it!) I think he's the right God because I can't think of any possibly greater God. Everything makes sense beyond my wildest hopes. So I'm happy with it for sure smile God wants me in his family, AND he's going to help me get there? I'm in.

The Gospel of John is my favorite account of Jesus. I'd recommend it if you wanted to brush up on that story. It's deep, too, so the more you read it the more you'll realize how much meaning it has. I love it.

Just one person trying to share what I treasure most. smile
