If You found you could not in life complete your goals, what would you do?

Lets make this a universally recogniseable analogy:  If you have a journey of say 12000 miles, with no horses, camels, cars, boats or trains, planes etc. going your way.  And you get to the middle of nowhere, having got through storms, either escaped or survived raiders etc.  And suddenly you've no means for food or water etc. in harsh desert/ice conditions.  And your legs are so tired from walking and you've dust in your throat from crawli8ng.  The Hyenas are about somewhere, you hear the howling!  What do you do?  Do you try to go on or give up?

I would still try to go on and IF the hyenas do take over me...I would definitely be in pain and disappointed by my destiny but then will have to give in to my karma smile

Ultimately, our karma's take us places even if we try to change our paths in life!

Achieving your goal is the ultimate desire in life. For my case, I will persist on instead of giving up half-way through.

Life is always a constant battle and it will be useless to give up easily when encountering obstacles. I always believe we should stand up for our goal.

Find a good Life Coach who could help you to focus on your goals, provide encouragement and support, and who would be at the finish line to celebrate with you when you have accomplished the goal.

You would also need to get a good support group of family and friends who believe in you and who would help to build your confidence level and motivate you.

And finally, you need to just keep pushing...Don't Quit....usually the breakthrough is right around the corner when it seems hardest.
    Good luck to you.

I would pray. (I know this sounds lame to most people, but God is always there!)

I would get different goals.  No sense on waisting time on ones you will never reach.

Never give up.  I would look at vegetation, possibly killing hyenas, who knows, but never give up.

    What would you do??.................................................
And besides all of that, you are bleeding from leg wound.
And youre been bitten by desert cobra and you die in two hours if you dont find help.
And desert pirates are after you because you have stollen their sacred sword.
And you are 99 years old.
It may sound that Im not on your side and you are right!
    What would you do?

The easiest thing is to give up. I'd rather go on and continue on what i set out to do.

Very interesting analogy I must say! haha. If that were me crawling in the hot desert I would never give up. You will die if you give up, death is not an option. Keep going, you can do it!

Never give up, never surrender. I wrote this as a hub, its what I feel our life journey is.

Life is like a mountain. When born you are at the base. The journey of life is complete when you reach the top. So you begin to climb. You go up a path, after you ascend several feet up, there are paths to choose. The ar no wrong paths to choose from, we take the one we like. You pick one and keep going. From time to time, you will fall or stumble to your knees, but you get up, brush off your knees and continue up the mountain. The interesting part is despite all the trails you saw along the way when you look down you only see one, the one that makes you the person you are.
