   Why should anyone go to hell?
   
   It's not our fault as  human beings. We are all in the same boat called HELPLESS. What we do in life, on this planet, is a totally different matter altogether but finally it's not our fault.

   As I give my opinion on this question, understand I do not have tongue in cheek.   I think that purgatory is part of hell, a place you go before it's decided if you get to move on to a better place.
   
   Because basically every religion states "if you don't follow my beliefs, are not part of my religion, you will go to hell" ; we all go to purgatory - that is to say, we all go to hell temporarily.
   
   And it is our fault, you have a choice, at least at certain moments on your life to make a difference in the lives of others. For that reason alone your visit to purgatory should be shorter than for others who do nothing for others or take no responsibility for their actions.

   Someone needs to keep the fire burning, lol . Everything we do on earth is our fault, and if more people would start taking responsibility for where they are in life and who they are instead of blaming people in their past, their boss, their parents and everyone else who steered them wrong, one day they might wake up and take control of the wheel.
   
   We are all in the same boat, but some of us have learned to set the sail in the right direction and be in control of our own destiny. Those of you who let the boat float in the winds of change and never steer a course will end up right where you are now. The road to nowhere will lead you to a town called no place. Set your sail for a destination and you will find you’re not in the same boat anymore.

   Noone should be. In this helpless world we should do thing which is right. we can not think of doing wrong things. But in troubles we do wrong things. But pray to God for forgiving us.

   All of life is about making choices and taking responsibility for our own actions and the choices we make.  Both Heaven & Hell are set before us and with the choices we make, we choose which we want more than the other, and there is no middle ground.  Denying this fact, closing our eyes to it, philosophizing this into oblivion, won't change what is, and always has been.  Christ said, "Chose this day who you will follow" - two paths each has to choose from.  One is the High road that leads to success and Heaven, and one is the Low road that leads to failure and Hell.  It doesn't take anymore effort to choose one over the other and everyone is given the same choice.  So, as the Knight on Indiana Jones said, "Chose wisely, as one cup leads to life, the other cup will take your life from you."

   Hell (or Hel) was situated underground - beneath the roots of the World Tree: Yggdrasil - in Norse Myth. We inhabit Midgard (Middle Earh) which is supported by the branches that sprout half-way up the tree's trunk. And the gods: the Aesir, live in Asgard, which is supported by the topmost branches.
   
   The name Hell - as far as I am aware - is only mentioned in English versions (Greek speaking people: such as those that wrote the New Testament, would have used the name Hades) of the Bible and constitutes yet another appropriation: by Christianity, from older religions.
   
   The Bible: both the New and Old Testament, is almost entirely composed of such appropriations.
   
   Deny this - and you deny THE TRUTH.

   As a matter of fact everyone does go to hell, if you consider the meaning of the  word hell.  Churches teach it’s a place of eternal torment, but they cannot prove that torment scenario by references.  If it were such a place of dismal dread, would Job pray to go there?  No he welcomed it, because he imagined it as a place to rest in sleep.  Here are his words while he was suffering:
   
          “O that in Sheol  (another word for hell) you would conceal me, please keep me secret until your anger turns back, Yes do set a time limit for me and remember me!  I need a rest form this, so can I die?  If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, until my relief comes.” (Job 14:13-14)
   
   Hell is word used in the King James Version (as well as in the Catholic Douay Version and most older translations) to translate the Hebrew word  sheohl.  it-1 p. 1086 Hell

    going to hell is a choice.  Your right, we are human and us being here was not our fault.  BUT we are here, there is a reason we are here and we have to have faith that God has his reasons.  Now the big picture is sense there is a reason we are here what we do with our time before it is up.  If there was no heaven or hell we could live our lives however we wanted  without consiquences.  What kind of life would that be? Talk about hell on Earth, people would be committing murder because they could get by with it.  There has to be more than this, for anyone.  We make our decisions, deal with the consiquences and one of those is how we spend eternity.  God places us here, gives us time to make our decision, then we face our eternity, simple as that.  Good Luck finding yours

    Of course, what we do is OUR fault............in extreme cases, some one holds a gun to our heads and leaves us with little and very poor choices, but STILL there is a choice.........MOST choices do not involve such drama, they are more mundane and boring.
    
    Jesus, is the Saviour, came to rescue the downtrodden, the beaten up, the strugglers, the lost, the desperate, the poor, the weak.............and so on and on.
    
    WHOSE fault is it, if you do not take hold of the rescue line?
    
    WHOSE?
    
    
    I came up very, very poor.........never robbed a bank.
    
    Was a mother before I was sure of myself.......never beat a child.
    
    Married a man, whose work took him from home for many weeks at a time.......was never unfaithful.
    
    Was often worried.........do I buy milk, or gas?
    Never stole and never went to bed hungry.
    
    Life is not always easy, glamours or full of promise, but I chose to struggle on and endure until it got better.........and it did.  I committed no crime or sacriliage in the meantimes.

    No I disagree, we are not helpless.  We have choices God given choices.  The Bible says to choose life.  We must be born again.  Accept Jesus Christ into your heart and believe that He came into this world to save the world and gave His life allowing Himself to be hung on a tree for your salvation from sin.  No one should go to hell but those who chose to ignore the message spoken clearly throughout the ages will unless they turn from their wicked ways and accept Jesus in their heart.  We speak life into us with our words and our faith.
    John 3:16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, Jesus,  that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.  Choose life, accept Him into your heart today!  God bless.

    Why would and the infinitely good, all-knowing God, all powerful God create Hell for his beloved creations?
    
    If there is hell, it is being distant from God.
    If any one of God's creation goes to such a "Hell" as proposed in religions, then God too is a failure. It reflects on God too. I don't believe God will fail in his love life.
    
    Remember that if was God's Divine Will that made us imperfect.
    In addition, he gave us free will. God also gave free will in our choices. It would not be free choice if God is going to punish us for a choice we have. However, there are natural consequences for each choice. Do good things and you experience good results. Do bad thing and you will experience evil. Put two and three together you get five. These are natural consequences, and not punishments or rewards from God.
    
    Hell as described by Dante's inferno is a human creation accepted by the Church. The Church did this in order to strike fear and gain control of the masses. They supported the idea that God and Hell should be feared.
    
    I believe that God prefers that your good deeds comes from your free will instead of being feared to submission. We can't fool God about who were really are. God prefers that you do not fear him.

    first the question why should anyone go to hell. because it is a just thing when someone does evil. i mean tell me  if someone was to kill or rape your daughter would you be angry and want to kill them i know i would. there are just some things that people do that deserves hell. second we are not helpless we have what is called a free will and we are able to make choices. we choose to do good or evil.
    
    people ask why would a loving and forgiving God send people to hell. well my answer is up there but you can be forgiven and beleve Gods one way of not going to hell. But i ask why would a loving God create people that he knows is going to hell because they dont beleive his one way of not going there.
    
    I also want say that there is an eternal punishment for sin the lake of fire forever. now for those who beleve christianity and in jesus the son of God which is the foundation of christianity who says hell is only temporary or there is no hell is wrong. why because of the very words of jesus the son of God in the bible. He plainly states of the eternal punishment of the fire that never goes out. He also says not to be afraid of those who can kill you but be afraid of Him who can cast you into hell which he was talking about God.
    
    back to why would a loving God send people to hell. i can understand that if someone wants to be evil then theres no stoping it i mean what can you do with someone who dosent want to stop doing evil maybe even after they die. and why would a loving God create someone he knows is going hell. so ihave come to the conclusion that God is screwed up in the head and has lost his mind for creating someone he knows is going to be evil and go to hell. I mean he could have just created the angles he knew was going to do his will forever by thier own choise and also the people. why because like every one says and even jesus said anything is possible with God he can do anything so he is able to create only those who do not go to hell.  so my conclusion of a loving God who creates angles and people who go to hell. man he is a good and evil creater. that is the most mest up a screwed up thing i have ever known. That is also the most worthless thing to do to create someone you know is going to be evil. it is stupid if you tell me.
