Ummmm?....have you read the scriptures? They will give you the answer to this "question."
"Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We have seen his star as it arose in the east and we have come to worship him."
Now Jesus was standing before Pilate, the Roman governor. "Are you the King of the Jews?" the governor asked him. Jesus replied, "Yes, it is as you say."
They made a crown of long, sharp thorns and put it on his head, and they placed a stick in his right hand as a scepter. Then they knelt before him in mockery, yelling, "Hail! King of the Jews!"
A signboard was fastened to the cross above Jesus' head, announcing the charge against him. It read: "This is Jesus, the King of the Jews."
“Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?” asked Pilate,
Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, "Behold your King!"
Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Then the leading priests said to Pilate, "Change it from `The King of the Jews' to `He said, I am King of the Jews.' "
Pilate replied, "What I have written, I have written. It stays exactly as it is."
That about somes it up. :-)
