What would be your thoughts when facing death?

We have to face the reality of this changing world. There are many things occuring in this time we are unaware and unprepared for. If disater came upon you, what thoughts would surface. have you lived  what you consider to be a rightful life? Some say they are in fear of dying. I would like for you to share your answer on this topic?

Alas a new beginning. Death is merely a return to the normal state of existence, it is when you understand this that death bides you no more worries, only different doorways to happiness.

I would hope I lived my life to the fullest and helped everyone that I could possibly help cause that is what life is all about. I would hope to leave with no regrets.

I do not know if you could classify my life as "rightful."  However, I have lived my life, experienced many things, and believe in God.  I know that what happens to me in this lifetime does not matter because the long-term destination, for me, will always be the same.

For me, I live every moment to the fullest and serve all that I can. Facing death is different for every individual. None of us know exactly what and how we will feel about it until the time comes.

Some of us will face death in pain, fighting cancer or another illness.  Still some of us will experience death so quickly we won't have time to think about it.

I prepare each day to get my affairs in order. Getting rid of clutter and stored items that my children won't want. Paying off any debt I may have. Being sure there is money to cover funeral expenses, etc. Organizing my things.

But mostly I prepare each day, to meet my Maker by living a loving and giving life. When my time comes, I want to be ready...spiritually. It will be for me, a time to rejoice as I will see my son again, along with friends and family.

I love and appreciate each day. Life is a gift, but so is death, when it comes.

I don't wanna sound like your stereotypical tough guy, but I'm not afraid of death. There are plenty of things I still want to do on earth before I go, but death, for any chosen religion, shouldn't be a scary thing. It's where you're going to end up anyways. Who cares if it's sooner than later?

I heard that people use to count their deeds what they have done on earth. They realizes what they committed wrong. I will remember those people who will not be with me and love me very much. There will be one more though that I am going to be with my ancestors.

Death could be decades away as easily as it could be minutes away. But fearing death and accepting that you are going to die are two different things.
I faced my death, I KNEW that I was dead. Since surviving that day, every second of my life has been a gift. I know that I will die, but I don't concern myself as to when or why. I try to live my life as if each day were the last, and without fear.

Don't ever pass up a chance to laugh.
Tell those you love that you do every day and often
Heath food is for suckers, because no one cares how good you look in your casket!

Very difficult to say. I would just want to remember God at that time so that peace stays with me. I think no other thought matters because once you are gone nothing matters. So why think of other things.

My thoughts would be actually more of a prayer, "Here i come Lord Jesus! I hope i wont be disqualified"
But honestly, the two times i have been in near death incidences, i don't remember thinking anything. I just went blank..I hope when my hour comes i wont go blank

I await and welcome the day that I will finally be called by God to return home to heaven. I started my journey back home at birth and every step has been toward that end.

I'm going home to Jesus. Granted, I would have wished I had done more in my life up until this point to spread the message of His love, but I know that He has a plan for me to reach more people than I can even imagine

Everyone talks about GOD think about this. What if when you die there was no GOD. I am not saying there is not. When I face death I will embrace it and head it on full face. I am not afraid of anything of my ex wife. no one can escape death I hope there is something after death there just has to be.
