Can't deny it does bring some good feeling to the heart at low individual selfish level - but will not express it as it is wrong. Even though they are enemies, the fact that counts more is that they are HUMANS - and irrespective of how we feel towards someone or some group, it is not right to lose our humanity and take pleasure at someone else's plight.
Sometimes, but only if its funny and they laugh too.
I won't laugh if its a heartbreaking situation however. I learned never to kick someone when they are down. I know what its like to be down and kicked by someone who thought I deserved it, and immediately the Lord did something about it. And not only did He come through but at no time was I ever ashamed.
This is a keen warning in the word of God about 'kicking someone when they are down'. Proverbs 24:17-18 states Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the LORD will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from them.'
It's important to show humility at all times, even when its difficult to do so. God's word is true in James 4:10 'Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.'
I know this first hand, and now when anyone tries to push me around, I go before the Lord and God takes care of it.
100%. if you're my enemy, i'll help make you fall and enjoy every second of it. as long as no one else is hurt in the process , i'm happy.
I never have actually laughed or even gloated beyond normal because I believe that what goes around comes around....but I do have to admit a little inner satisfaction, especially if they have been very unkind. But I do try not to.
I feel sorry when they fall and hope and pray that they realize what they did to others.
Never I don't like it if anyone gets hurt or is suffering, I'll pick them up each time.
Good question. It is natural to feel some hidden joy but it is not rewarding nor sustainable. I have been there before but I have learnt that forgiveness is the only way to be set free. No matter how deep our enemies fall, it's not possible to get true satisfaction or justice for the reasons that caused the enmity. Only God can bring justice and even then ....see what the Bible says.
Proverbs 24:17-18 "Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;Or the LORD will see it and be displeased, and turn His anger away from him.
Thanks.
No. I try to help them up. Even when others harm me, I don't hate them but rather their actions.
Yes. I am petty that way. Case in point, Anne Vandermeyer, trophy wife to reknowned science fiction author Jeff Vandermeyer, became head editor of Weird Tales magazine purely through her husband's name several years ago. That magazine is one of the oldest still in print. It's where the likes of my idols like Lovecraft and Howard made their names. I sent her one of my best stories, knowing full well the odds of it being printed were slim to nill.
A year passed. Then another. I sent several letters asking the status of the story, as the magazine stipulated simultaneous submissions were not allowed. She was essentially holding it hostage. Finally, she snapped back a nasty letter that the story was rejected because I wouldn't leave here alone, and I should've known I was welcome to submit it elsewhere in the meantime.
Apparently she'd changed the submission contract in the interim, not realizing that the date the work is initially submitted means the previous contract (the higher paying one) is the one both of us were legally required to abide by.
She then blacklisted me when I pointed this out.
Weird Tales Magazine was run into the ground by that woman. It was bought out by another publishing house several months ago. Anne was fired for her incompetence.
I have never laughed so hard in my life. I think I lost consciousness for a while there.
Laugh out loud? No. But it's difficult not to feel some degree of satisfaction when your enemy stumbles and falls. We're talking about our enemies. Despite the biblical admonitions about not gloating at our enemy's setbacks, we wouldn't be human if we didn't do a little jig, just a little jig.
Not so much laugh, but sometimes I feel a twinge of satisfaction.
I hold a grudge for a LONG time, so generally i have no problems stepping over them, without offering a hand.
I never laugh instead if it is something serious i ll assist them
No, but I do believe everything happens for a reason and if they fail at something then I do believe it was meant to be.
My answer is that though I may feel like laughing I won't cause it's the right thing to do. Laughing at one's enemies though they may be enemies is simply arrogance as if one cannot fall in any way.
You''ll need enemies first. I never really disliked anybody. With some you have a better understanding than with others. As such, I do not laugh when anybody falls, unless the situations calls for it.
i don't see what happens with them coz i don't need to watch them.
BTW i won't laugh if anything happened with them.
Depends. I can't recall laughing at any enemy right now but I'm sure I'm capable of it.
no i don't . i am always sad when bad things happen to people. i might not be help them always, but i empathise because, i understand that the person must be just as clueless as anybody, about his fall. and isn't right or wrong just a matter of perspective?
Laugh you say! Do I ever I laugh like SATAN at a soul fest! If I'm able to I rub it in untill I'm certain there broke I do.Then I celebrate, laughing all the way!Do I ever laugh!!!
I usually am in a temple or nice environment. I get along with most so I do not know if I have enemies. If I did have enemies I would not laugh if they fell. I would just think that is too bad and keep giong about my business.
Best wishes

Can an old man (60+) fall in love with a young woman (20+)?We all know that love ignores all barriers like: religion, race, distance and age. But is it really possible for a man of 65-70 years of age to fall in love with a young girl of 20-25 years of age. I mean, is it psychologically possible?
