to an extent...
whether you realize or not your life impacts those of others. the way you treat someone has an impact on another life and that causes a ripple effect. kindness often (not always) causes kindness to ripple down or up which ever the case may be.
the reverse is true as well. ugliness many times causes ugliness to spread. however, it can stop with YOU.
if you encounter someone who is terminally unhappy, you can say something that may change their day...it may not, but there is a 50/50 chance it will. And isn't it worth the gamble?
Personally, I would much rather be in the car next to someone who has just had a positive encounter with someone else.
so that part of life...the interacting with others part...i take seriously.
the being responsible for others part i take seriously as well.
if you have children in your care or if you have elderly relatives, parents, grandparents it is important to take that part of your life seriously.
B U T you should also fill your life with humor and joy and do things to keep you mentally, physically, and spiritually healthy.
