Hello, the simple answer is no, our time structure is not Mayan.
Our time structure, if you mean Western (US, European, or any part of the globe related to those regions) is based upon astronomical observations and mathematics laid down in Sumeria and Mesopotamia (Now Iraq) about 6,000 years ago.
Since there was no proven link between the Afro-Eurasian continent and the Americas until after 1,000 CE, Probable Viking settlement of the Atlantic coastal provinces of Canada, and it is a long way from those provinces to Central America where the Mayans lived, and the vikings of the 11th Century would have not used a modern calendar and arrived about 4,000 years after the Mayan calendar was calculated. there is little chance of the Mayan calendar being related. Mayans therefore would have created their own calendar independently from "Old World" peoples.
Plus remember the present European based calendar is not the only system in use today, there are Muslem, Jewish and Chinese calendars also in use though the Western calendar is more commonly used for purposes of trade and business.
