Why do Christians feel the need to tell us about their religious beliefs?

I don't have a problem with Christianity or any religion for that matter, but I view religion/spirituality as a personal and privvate matter and feel that it's best kept that way unless one is specifically asked to expand on their religious beliefs. It feel that those who spruik their religion are showing very little respect for the beliefs of others. Everyone believes their way is the best way - but what I believe they are saying is it is "the best way for them". I think that actions speak louder than words and I'm more interested in the inspiring deeds of people than words.

Go Dona! If a Disciple of Christ, one blvs HIS WORD which commanded us to "TEACH" (Matt 28:20)! Those who call themselves "Christians" & do not have NO LOVE FOR JESUS! (Jn 21:15-17) They'd rather "appease men" by appearing "religiously correct!"

He (Holy Spirit aka JESUS) tells ALL what to do. Jn 21:15-17 tells us to FEED HIS SHEEP, IF WE "LOVE" HIM {paraphrasing}! So why don't so called "Christians" do that? Intrusion in lives, disrespect, or lack of knowledge of Bible?

True! But Scripture says, "...IF YOU LOVE ME, FEED MY SHEEP.." (Jn21:15-17)! So "Teach" (Matt 28:20) & show LOVE!

I hope you understand that people all over the world have meaningful spiritual relationships that are just as important to them as Jesus is to you. You find solace in Christianity, I find it elsewhere. Respect.

Move from GOD to self, you move to "eternal death!" "Move on" where? This is a "Spiritual" journey, and 1's spirit "moves on" where "his heart" lived (loved) while living! Where's yours-family? Can't save u!

"These days I don't look up or out for God I look within myself." NOPE! You're looking in the WRONG place! Studying & meditating on HIS WORD is "finding GOD!" Studying, praying & asking him for "revelation" of His Word is communication w/HIM

Where is "your" LOVE for GOD or man or you wouldn't disrespect HIM by deleting HIS WORD when not in agreement w/"your" belief? Lip Service (Matt15:8)! JEHOVAH & I AM is SAME THING (Exd 3:15) GOD; whose name is JESUS (Phil2:10) under NEW COVENANT

Amen Phoebe! I have told authors of questions to indicate "NO BIBLE," then I'll KNOW Scripture isn't welcome & move on! Jesus told us to "TEACH," but the world has made "Millennium Christians" blv they r to be quiet, for "It's a personal thing!"

Jesus did not say be "civilized" as "Millennium Christians" do, but "TEACH" (Matt 28:20; I Pet 3:15;II Tim 4:2+)! Didn't JESUS "rock the boat?" Had HE not, no fulfillment of law! How soon we forget JESUS to APPEASE world!

Then YOU don't do as you were TOLD to do (Matt 28:20; I Peter 3:15+) so apparently you don't believe Bible & therefore one of those "So Called Christians!" Find ONE place JESUS said "Keep your belief quiet?" If u can't what r u?

"I believe that we are letting down in our responsibilities as followers.." Of Jesus (Jn 21:15-17)! If one doesn't=NO LOVE FOR JESUS! What "other faiths?" (Gal 1:6-9) GOD told u "not to bless them" (unbelievers) (2 Jn 1:10)
